I don’t usually leave anything but 5 star reviews but I felt compelled to share this experience in case it’s helpful for anyone deciding where to dine/have lunch. We were so disappointed with the food vs cost. And just the food generally. We ordered two salads, the fish and the summer salad. And two coffees. For $81. Two small salads and two coffees for $81. Both too small and lacklustre, too sweet for the summer salad and too flavourless and buttery/oily for the fish salad. We also ordered GF banana bread and waited a really long time for it, when it arrived it looked like it wasn’t gluten free (having seen both in the glass cabinet) and we had to double check and they confirmed it was not. Then they brought out the GF banana bread. In the grand scheme of things, life is short and this all might seem pretty trivial. But I guess life is short and sometimes you want good food and good service if you’re paying for it. So, if you want to eat good food, for good value, this is not the place to go. At least not for the salads and certainly not if you are in any kind of hurry.

Some really gluten free options. We advised staff we had a celiac son and they were very accomodating switching out the normal tortillas for gluten free ones for the kids quesadillas. My son also had some gf appetisers with no reaction.
Drinks are slightly pricey but very good.

The Bistro has a range of gluten free options and are very coeliac aware. Separate fryer for chips, fries and entrees. Lovely kitchen staff. Nice place, bust for a Monday, great vibe, big modern and chill. I had the half chicken and shoestring fries just because I miss takeaway chicken and chips. It was a really big meal and very nice. Gf gravy and sauces too. Thanks so much for have gf options and looking out for us coeliacs👍🏼
