First visit here this weekend for cake and coffee/tea, and we were very impressed. They even have a selection for anyone gluten-free. It's small but a lovely welcoming atmosphere and they managed to accommodate our party of 5. Cake choices were great, and they tasted as good as they looked.
Definitely be visiting again when in the area.
We arrived late afternoon, and we were lucky to have done so, we hadn't booked. We were three with a dog and a wheelchair. That was no problem here. The service was second to non, the food was really good and catered for one of our party who is coeliac. By the time we had finished, the place was heaving, it was explained to everyone on their arrival how long they were likely to be waiting for their food to be ready. It is proper food, prepared to order. We will definitely book next time..
Honestly the Best fish and chips around. Me and my family have been going for years now and we all ways get one fish and chips and a gluten-free for my wife. The gluten-free is gorgeous. There is plenty of seating inside and out and is nice to have the option on the warm summer nights. Would recommend if looking for a new place to try.
Glad we found this lovely old Pub. Friendly & welcoming, excellent service, delicious home cooked food, the chips were perfect, friendly locals, great to find somewhere that’s dog friendly & does gluten free options.
Sat in the glass house beneath the huge grape vine for lunch - we were very pleasantly suprised to find out they had gluten free bread to make our toasted sandwiches with. Would recommend!
