I cannot comment on the rooms as never stayed but We come here basically all the time for pizza ! Always a great vibe and atmosphere, the pizza is the best offering gluten free option also - which is just as tasty as the regular . Garlic bread is on point also.
Great drink options and local beers I’ve not tried but partner and friends love , i have never had a bad experience here and will keep coming back. Upstairs garden is nice too on a sunny day with open seating or sheltered, best pizza in Inverness.

We only stopped here because our hotel was around the corner and we were hungry. At first glance it looks like a cool place to stop and eat. I had fish and chips, the only one available was the gluten free. Maybe this is what affected the batter, it had no taste, it was crispy but the inside was swimming in grease. I ended up scraping the batter off and just eating the fish. The guy who served us really didn't want to be there or enjoyed his job, or at least that's how it came across to me the customer. Would I go there again? Not for food, drinks maybe

We had a recommendation to try Mustard Seed in Inverness and it didn’t let us down. We arrived late’ish on a Friday night and the friendly team accommodated us with a table. Food was very wholesome and really enjoyed it. Highlights for us were the mussels and venison. Gluten free well accommodated.
An absolute gem with a welcoming atmosphere, where delicious dishes and attentive service make every visit memorable.

My daughter is coeliac and I’m GF so I did a bit of research before booking this restaurant. I called to check the burgers were definately GF and was assured they were. I also noted dietary requirements on the booking. We placed our order for 2 burgers only to be told that there were no GF buns. We decided to go ahead with the order as we had a theatre booking later that evening and it would have been awkward to find another restaurant. The waitress advised she would arrange for some “extra chips” with the burger.
When the food arrived it was almost comical the tiny burger had been hidden between 2 bits of little gem lettuce it looked like it was hiding its embarrassment! The burger was dry and tasteless the chips were at least hot but if that was extra I’d hate to see a normal portion. When asked if everything was ok with our me I said no. No effort had been made to try and elevate the bun less burger. Maybe a bit tomato, onion, cucumber would have been a start. £17.00 for a dry burger a small bowl of chips and a handful of leaves was awful. We spoke to the manager who was unaware they had ran out of GF bread he offered a discounted price and a dessert. We felt he was lacking basic knowledge of what coeliac disease actually us as he offered vegan icecream having just ordered a burger we are not vegan !
I feel the chef and management need to review their food intolerance options. I fear the chips were also fried in the normal frier where gluten products are cooked as later that night my daughter had some mild side effects from having eaten gluten. A bit more education in the kitchen I think.
In the end we were given 10% of the bill and our drinks free but it still felt very steep at £30.00 for an awful meal. Waiting staff were very nice and we felt sorry for them having to bring out such a pathetic plate of good.

Friendly little cafe with great food and loads of veggie, vegan & gluten free choices. I had vegan breakfast (I'm actually veggie but not fussed about eggs) I got veggie haggis, tatty scone, hash browns, veggie sausages & beans & tomato. Very nice! Partner had a Scottish breakfast and said the black pudding was the best he's ever had. Dogs welcome & have their own menu.

Typical Scottish pub. Very good atmosphere, good music and gluten-free food without problems. What can be adapted without gluten, they put it on the menu or they adapt it if possible. Celiacs, you can eat without problems. The best gluten free brownie I have ever tasted
A go-to spot in Inverness for tasty options and quick takeout, with a lively vibe and helpful staff that always ensure a great experience.

As someone with Coeliac and a dairy intolerance, this is one of the few if not only places I can get a takeaway. The new allergy list is extremely good and in depth aswell. The box’s all have stickers labels and qr codes for allergens.

I was in search of Gluten free pizza and happened to find this small, quaint restaurant. Happy to say the pizza did not disappoint and probably ranks high on the GF pizzas I've tried around the world. If ever in Inverness again, I will definitely pop in here.
Note, the place is small so you may have to wait but at least for the GF pizza, it's worth the wait (also heard someone else say theirs was good too!)
Exceptional vibes and a memorable dinner experience await, with a knowledgeable team and a welcoming atmosphere that'll make you feel right at home.

Our family concluded their two-week vacation in Scotland with dinner at Alfi's River House Restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Our waiter was witty, which we all appreciated, and knowledgeable regarding gluten allergies. I will definitely stop in again the next time I'm in inverness.
Boasting an impressive menu where nearly everything can be customized, this spot serves up delicious dishes alongside irresistible cocktails.

They had such a wonderful selection of gluten free options! Almost everything on the menu could be made GF. I got the baked fillet of cod with a side of the tomato mozzarella salad, my partner got the beef cheek, both were amazing! The cocktails were also delicious, we loved everything!
Enjoy a fantastic vibe with live music, friendly faces, and a cozy outdoor setting that makes every visit feel special.

I don’t normally write negative reviews but our experience at MacGregor’s tonight was truly disappointing. We have booked dinner at MacGregor’s for our one night in Inverness based on their main menu online which had traditional Scottish dishes and plenty of gluten free options. When we arrived, we were presented with a small lunch/late night menu and when we asked we were told that they don’t do their main menu on a Sunday. The menu we were presented with was very limited with a few types of loaded fries and burgers as well as a few mains. The gluten free options on this menu were only the loaded chips. I raised my concern that none of the mains were gluten free and I was told I can pick something from the actual main menu and they will accomodate me, so I picked the vegan burger. 10 minutes later I was told that the vegan burger beef pattie had bread crumbs in it which I questioned how could the vegan burger have a beef Pattie in the first place but the waiter just repeated that it’s not gluten free (despite being marked as gluten free on their main menu). They ended up making me a chicken breast which was chewy and completely flavourless so I could not eat it. My partner had a fish and chips which as undercooked and flavourless as well. For drinks we ordered a Prosecco and a beer, only to be told after waiting for over 15 minutes that they don’t have the Prosecco and the beer came out even later. Finally, when we went to pay and surprise surprise, the vegan burger and Prosecco (which we never had) were both on the bill… overall an awful and disappointing experience 😞
Enjoy beautifully presented dishes with great jazz music, and an accommodating vibe that makes every meal a delight.

Quick bite to eat whilst visiting Inverness for the day.
Im gluten free and was really fancying a burger and after some google searching found this place and it did not disappoint.
the burger was amazing. Best burger I’ve had in a while. Didn’t have any cocktails but they looked great.
Staff friendly, squeezed us in before 5:30 prior to a booking already in, as didn’t want a table near the door as it was freezing, as we were only looking for a quick bite to eat.
Drinks served quickly, and burgers were also served in a reasonable time.
Looked a great place for drinking cocktails. Would definitely return.
Experience a stunning venue with impeccable service and a tranquil atmosphere that's perfect for a memorable afternoon gathering.

Dine in...We had a 7:30 reservation for dinner. We sat down and waited a long time for our order to be taken. I am gluten free and am very picky about what I eat. I asked the waiter if I could take parts of the dinners, (such as just the vegetables) and just have them. He said no. So I ended up ordering a side salad, 2 orders of side potatoes (I thought they were baked but they were boiled) and a side order of broccoli. After waiting for well over an hour, our dinners finally arrived. Mine was 3 separate cereal bowls..one with boiled potatoes, one with broccoli and one with salad. NO DINNER PLATE. And one tiny sliver of butter. It was not exactly a 5 star presentation of food on a plate! I asked for a dinner plate and the waiter did bring me one after a while. This was the best presentation the chef could make? The boiled potatoes and broccoli were not 5 star by an stretch of the imagination!
Also, we had started the evening in the bar and had each had a drink or glass of wine. Once at the table, we all ordered another glass of wine. The service was incredibly slow and we ended up drinking another glass of wine. Little did we know that they were $30 a glass! No one ever offered us a bottle, nor did we know that mixed drinks are half the price! It turned out that our bar bill was 100 pounds per person! This turned out to be a most expensive dinner of our trip! The other diners had okay meals, but the service was so slow that they would have eaten almost anything! In short, this dinner was a terrible experience...and very, very expensive. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Known for its standout high tea and excellent takeaway options, it’s a local favorite that never disappoints.

Lorrimers is a great eater, we always love the breakfasts from here. Although we have been for high tea and was
Brilliant. Also my other half picked me up gluten free sandwichs and they where brilliant, which to everyone else
Sounds normal, but finding good gluten free sandwiches when taking away isnt an easy feat, but lorrimer knocked
Out the park best gf sandwich ive had for take away.
While a little off the beaten path, this light filled cafe is well worth the walk. Attentive, friendly staff and excellent food and coffee, this is highly recommended. There are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options for the breakfasts which are well thought out and quite substantial, not simply the standard breakfast with ingredients removed. The cafe is dog friendly and obviously a bit of a local hub. Its only downside is its location, quite some way out of central Inverness, but combine a visit with a walk down the river, which is not that far away, and that sole downside largely falls away.
Food was stunning, so flavourful! Loads of gluten free options and lovely staff. Very happy with this little cafe, if we didn't live so far away we'd be there weekly ❤️

Food, service, space, exquisite atmosphere.
I liked it so much that I repeated it the next day.
The dishes I tried were:
1- avocado and egg toast (they did not skimp, large quantity, generous portion)
2- toast with salmon (the best salmon I have ever tried)
3- pancakes with fruits and honey (exquisite)
4- gluten free brownie (brutal, fluffy and without cloying)
As drinks:
1- Excellent coffee (they have many options, size, chocolate, etc.)
2- smoothies (refreshing and with unmatched milk cream)
Lastly, I found the space created for souvenirs very original, very cozy!
Without a doubt, I would go every day!!
