The best gluten free food anywhere nearby. My only complaint is I wish I found here sooner! Had lunch, the atmosphere was incredible, service was speedy and the food was so so good. Recommended for anyone gluten free or celiac!

We popped in after a walk this morning for breakfast.
We had poached eggs on Toast with extra sausage, and I found a little expensive £10.95 for what we had. Also, the poached eggs were not runny as i would expect. We did get a little discount of £1 for the eggs.
There are lots of gluten-free options on the menu here. We may return for a main meal but not sure after the breakfast.
Craft beers flow in a tidy pub with a warm atmosphere, though attention to dietary needs could improve the overall experience.

Food is nice and hot, and some good selection of craft beers, only downside to the whole evening, was a lack of staff asking about what type of food intolerance (ie) gluten, nut and milk allergies my partner has . Apart from that a very nice meal out and a nice and tidy public house

Had a lovely meal with some friends on the lunchtime. Warned the staff that I was strictly gluten free due to coeliac disease and no problem at all. My meal even came out with an allergy warning on it!

We came for an early Mother's Day lunch. I live up North and my sister lives in London, so we wanted somewhere close to my Mother. My Mom has been visiting The Whit since she was a teenager, but we hadn’t eaten there for years! We were SO pleased to see the brilliant gluten free options. All three of us are allergic and to have our own separate menu (instead of a whole filing system) was so refreshing.
Katie was a fabulous waitress and helped to make the occasion really special. She was kind and welcoming. Nothing was a chore and she couldn’t have been more helpful! Thanks Katie!
