Went here to celebrate a family birthday, with everyone eating gluten-free. Disappointed there was no gluten-free beer available. The mozzarella cheese fries appetizer took half an hour, and was strange—odd presentation with way too much cheese (it looked like cheese pie—which okay, who doesn’t love more cheese? but visually, it was unappetizing, not browned or bubbly, just a slab of melted cheese) and underneath, the fries were barely cooked. When we mentioned it to the server, she didn’t apologize or make it right—she told us the fries are baked that way in the oven since they don’t have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and they end up undercooked. Okay….Our pizza was good, but not enough sauce, and the sausage was crumbled instead of bite-sized pieces. The gluten-free vegan lasagna was delicious! But the slow service (it wasn’t crowded, but every step of service was slow) and “sucks to be gluten-free” attitude of the server and cook were disappointing. And the ‘80s pop music all night was not our thing.
A cozy spot with rapid service, great ambiance including live jazz, and a fun mix of indoor and outdoor seating for gatherings.

During the holidays I went here twice. Once to meet with friends. I had the carrot soup and the wonderful ginger honey tea, which inspired me to start making it at home. The food was so delicious I had to go back. I wanted to try their breakfast. So Sunday morning after Christmas, i went back with family. They had a wonderful young jazz quartet who provided the most unexpected and best atmosphere during breakfast. Gluten-free pancake breakfast with tea and jazz.
Vibrant spot with a fun atmosphere and unique specials, offering surprisingly good quality at reasonable prices.

Popped in to check this place out and so glad I did. I loved it! I ordered the gluten free Margherita pizza and a half order of the kale Brussel sprouts salad and it was all super delicious. That was the absolute BEST gluten free pizza I have ever had! Amazing! Should have taken pics but went straight into eating 😋

Wow what a great spot! My wife and I visited here 3x in the span of a week! The coffee is top notch - strong and tasty. We tried several of the holiday themed coffees which all delivered. It was also awesome seeing they had great gluten free options for breakfast - the chocolate crepes were so tasty! The breakfast croissant was also bomb. Definitely recommend coming here!

Ragamuffin is a HIDDEN GEM! I wish it were closer to LA…this is a must-visit every single time we drive out to Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo - it is worth the drive specifically for a few special items! They have this one drink called the BBC (blueberry basil cold brew) that is better than almost any other coffee drink we’ve had, period - and we have had a LOT of coffee all over the place. It has a blueberry basil cold foam and it’s insanely good. You can even do a blueberry basil matcha as well! That is also fantastic! Not only that, there are a lot of amazing baked goods here (I got some type of special Nutella croissant, but not sure what it was called, maybe a cruffin?) and some good gluten-free options as well. Plenty of parking, great atmosphere inside, seating inside and out, and of course a great selection of coffee drinks! Check this place out!!
Awesome spot with a great outdoor vibe, offering a variety of tasty dishes and a strong commitment to sustainability.

As a person with celiac, I love that I can eat here comfortably never worrying about cross contamination. The food is delicious! If I had to say one thing, that’s the downside is that there is no seating in most locations, which is such a bummer when the weather is not ideal. Other than that, Love, love love this place! Cherry on top… They donated free meals to the first responders during the Palisades fire That’s what community is about❤️
This spot has a lively vibe, quick service, dog-friendly patio, and lots of tasty options for everyone to enjoy!

We ate super delicious, the tomato soup was delicious, all the dishes we ate were very delicious and I also have a gluten allergy and they treated me very well, the attention from Enrique and Cynthia was very good!
Expect a bustling vibe during lunch with a busy drive-thru, but the welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot.

Love Chick-fil-A. The parking lot is a bit crazy around lunch time with all the drive thru cars, but the restaurant is worth it. Everyone park and eat inside, such nice people working there. They are also one of the safe restaurants for my celiac granddaughter to eat at because they take great care not to cross contaminate her food. Thank you.

We just enjoyed another incredible dinner at The Melting Pot. The service was impeccable, and the food was outstanding. As someone with a severe gluten allergy, dining out can often be a challenge, but The Melting Pot is truly exceptional in accommodating my needs. After 10 years of being gluten-free, I’ve developed a heightened sensitivity to cross-contamination, yet this is one of the few places where I can dine with complete confidence.
I was especially impressed to see gluten-free labels even on the cocktail menu—a thoughtful touch that sets them apart. If you’re a cocktail lover, I highly recommend the Love Martini. It’s sweet, refreshing, and easily one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.
The manager, Luis, deserves special recognition for his warmth and attentiveness. He was instrumental in helping us plan a large family gathering at the restaurant, ensuring every detail was perfect.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a charming date night spot, The Melting Pot delivers on all fronts. For those who are gluten intolerant, it’s an absolute gem. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
Charming vibe and tasty meals keep visitors coming back, though prices can get a bit steep for certain menu items.

I want to start by saying, that this is a really cute restaurant, with a nice ambience, and wonderful staff.
The food was excellent. The corned beef hash, was well balanced, and delightfully flavorful. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and the hollandaise was nice and rich.
The first squeezed orange juice was also delicious... But that's where things get a little weird. While The corned beef I felt was fairly priced, The orange juice was INSANE! A small 8 to 10 oz glass of orange juice, it was $8.50. (I can get a gallon of organic fresh squeezed orange juice at whole foods for $11.99). Had I known it was going to be that expensive, I would have never have ordered it, but I couldn't have known that it was going to be that expensive when I ordered it, because The server did exactly like a good server is supposed to, and asked if I wanted one before I sat down, and was even given a menu.
I had considered getting the French toast, which they can do gluten-free, because they carry Udi's gluten-free bread... But they do charge a premium of $2.99 for it. The thing about the difference between the regular bread, and the GF bread, is that the GF bread is half as thick, and a smaller size. So you're paying a premium, for less than half of the same entree. I understand that cost can be a thing... But a loaf of Udi's gluten-free bread, is $8 at every major grocery store (Even whole foods). I can guarantee, that the premium bread that they use for their thick cut French toast, is quite comparably priced, and you get half as many slices in a loaf.
I've been working in hospitality for 30 years, and have designed and priced many menus. This level of disparity in pricing, is a definite issue.
Thankfully, like I said... The food was delicious and The staff was amazing. Incredibly friendly, ultimately professional, and not the cause of any of my distress (When I brought the subject up, despite already having paid, the manager was kind enough to remove it. I wasn't asking, or expecting it, but they insisted). This problem is all with the parent company for Marmalade Cafe.
Do I recommend eating there... Absolutely. You will not be disappointed in The culinary part of your experience... Just make sure you look at the menu first before ordering anything, because when given the chance, the company will apparently gouge you deep.

Casual fine dining at the mall is owned and operated by private equity. Equating this to an upscale Red Robin wouldn't be too far off the mark.
This location is one of many. Thousand Oaks is a likely target for restaurants of this type. The menu feels all-encompassing, from the restaurant burger to tacos and some Chinese-inspired dishes. The feel is all corporate. The menu covers the bases of comfort food and bar-like items.
Part of the menu is also designed family style. There is also quite a support for Gluten-free items.
Maybe playing on the novelty, but a section described as "TV Diners" plays on nostalgia and oddly served at a sit-down restaurant.
The pricing is what hits this restaurant. A restaurant burger will set you back $18 or more. There is nothing special about their burgers unless you are a fan of putting peanut butter and jelly in your hamburger. A "not" Cuban Sandwich will also set you back $18 and it is grilled on sourdough bread. Which is a bit of an insult. I was expecting better service when paying $5 for non-alcoholic beverages. Our server, although attentive, seemed reluctant to refill our beverages.
The food quality is good here and you will receive a good meal, but fueling the private equity costs brings no value other than comfortable decor.

The burger was great. Discovered that they offer gluten free bun. The staff was pleasant. I didn't do 5 stars on atmosphere but that's purely my taste. I didn't appreciate the style and volume of the music and the temp was a little cold.
This spot offers a variety of pizza styles, unique flavor combos, and a rock and roll vibe that's perfect for a chill hangout.

Awesome-tasting-clean-eating-all-Vegan food with a ton of gluten friendly options.
Quality ingredients, very generous portions and great prices for vegan eating. Super friendly staff. Chef came to table to meet us with a friendly greeting.
Very friendly server was super accommodating for my gluten intolerance; she advised that most dishes can be made gluten-free upon request. All types of fried rice can be made gluten free. Had pineapple fried rice, & it was absolutely amazing! Also lunch specials are available on weekends too.Gluten-free Pad Thai lunch special was absolutely delicious! Restaurant very clean and neat with ample seating and friendly server takes your order and brings food out timely that’s piping hot.
Bathrooms are super clean and located very conveniently close and fully stocked with paper supplies.
This is our new go-to restaurant! Great job, Vegan Thyme! Thank you! :-)

Ordered online and got two salads. I love this restaurant as the Impossible Taco Salad is one of the few things gluten free and vegan I can eat. No other restaurants have options like that for me. And on my takeout bag it says “quality checked by Jon.” Whoever Jon is I thank you for checking the quality and making sure it was amazing because it was. And thank you to the amazing staff who always provide wonderful service and food. Thank you for all you do!!

Servers were very nice with a quality amount of fried which tasted good with good seasoning but I am vegan and had to get the vegan burger which means I had to get the gluten-free, but which came with a patty with very little seasoning, and the tiniest patty I’ve ever seen, which fit in like a 4 inch bag and the bread dissolved in my mouth, and I couldn’t taste anything, except for the bread it did not fill me up and was definitely not worth $20. The servers were nice though, and helped me with The service and the questions I had.

I just had the most generous experience here! I was speaking with the manager about how I would love to try a slice of their gluten free pizzas, and they do not have slices do this available. He proceeded to order me one on the house and allowed me to try it! And let me tell you, it was worth it! Gluten free people, rejoice!!
The big attraction for me was the gluten free toast, French toast, and pancakes. They screwed up my GF toast but I caught it. The service was poor and the food served just warm. Too bad.

I came with my family to eat dinner here on a Friday night and it was amazing! The best part was they have gluten-free pasta available, and the naccheri amatriciana was to die for. Service was great, we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Staff were very knowledgeable about the menu, wine, etc. and were extremely attentive. I highly recommend!
I highly recommend this place. I had a great experience ordering take out. Vegan and gluten-free friendly and the food was amazing. Best Thai food I have had and incredible customer service.

The staff was outstanding, offering exceptional service with a friendly and helpful attitude. The food was all vegan, bursting with flavor, though it does lean on the spicier side, so be prepared! They were kind enough to let me sample a few dishes before ordering, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area. Some gluten free options too.

Fun today at West Tasting Room in Thousand Oaks for my bestie's birthday celebration. I went international with a flight of whites - two French sparkling wines and a Spanish Albariño. She chose local reds from Santa Barbara. No dinky glasses either, all full size to bring it the best in the wines. Altho they specialize in charcuterie and cheese boards, we both had great pizzas. Mine was a gluten-free (best gf crust ever) burrata and prosciutto with arugula, and she had the spicy salami. We shared a huge mixed greens salad with pistachios, cranberries, and olive oil & lemon juice. They brought out a tasty gelato for her birthday dessert! There is limited outdoor seating on the front porch. Easy access from the 101 freeway. Parking was plentiful at noon on a Saturday, altho the place was packed by the time we left around 1:45.
