I absolutely love this restaurant. When we go to savannah and want something quick and healthy, we stop by SHUK. To me, the restaurant isn't expensive at all ($15.00 approx) for food that will benefit you in the long run. ( I mean, have you seen the prices at cava. You will definitely spend more at cava) . The lattes are pretty good made with simple ingredients ( I just wish it were served a little hotter, especially on cold days), but nevertheless, still a good latte. I totally recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary restrictions ( dairy alternatives and gluten-free options are available. I'm not sure if someone with celiac would be safe here, but I'm sure the friendly staff can help you navigate through the menu with no problem) If you prefer your food on the salty side, the restaurant provides salt and pepper shakers for customers. I think the balance of sharwama seasoning and pickled onions taste just fine with no extra salt needed. Also, if you are a sauce person, try the amba sauce with your food. I gave this restaurant 5 stars through and through.

I'm so glad we chose this place, in a lovely spot slightly away from crowds. The food was amazing, and even the lovely gluten-free menu was full of choices that all looked superb. I had their taken on "surf and turf," which was perfectlu cooked scallops with pulled pork wrapped in collards. Service was perfect. My only complaint is that the tables were a bit too close together, but the wonderful food would get me to return many times over.
