We recently had the pleasure of having our baby shower in the greenhouse. Verde has long been my wife and I favorite restaurant so no brainer to have this event there. Having Celiac the server answered all my questions about options letting me know the waffles pancakes and toast risks cross contamination which I am glad she did. Manager (Irfan)was rude and nasty, arguing with me over a burnt Gluten-free pizza and refused to change his gloves when taking the pizza out for an allergy for my son’s pizza he told me he rather use the red tongues and the red pizza cutter to pick up the pizza and put it on the Pan and told me that he’s not changing his gloves. I told him it’s for an allergy you have to. I am one of the best customers for Blaze Pizza. I’m in there every day sometimes. Two or three times a day. Weiss and Jen Are very helpful every time I go in there they always treat me and my family with respect considering my son‘s allergy All the other workers are great too, except for Irfan I was highly disappointed and very annoyed.

We got married at the Bayview House on 10/8/23, and it was an absolutely beautiful event! Annie, our Maitre'D, made sure that the entire evening ran smoothly. She was a pleasure to work with! ♥ I got up to get my own food at one point, and she was quick to sit me back down and bring my husband and I everything that we wanted from the buffet! The food at Captain Bill's is excellent, and they worked with us to ensure that we had both vegan & gluten-free options for our guests with dietary restrictions.
The Bayview House is so, so beautiful -- even more so in person! We did many of our own decorations, and genuinely had fun planning out decorations for the ballroom -- especially the fireplace!
While Long Island weddings are undeniably expensive, we were able to work with Captain Bill's to ensure that we stayed within our tight budget, while still hitting on all of the major things that we felt were essential to our wedding day.
I would highly recommend the Bayview House to anyone looking for a beautiful, reasonably priced wedding venue with fantastic food!

I really like this restaurant! I have a wheat allergy and when I told my server she said they have gluten free soy to make hibachi in the kitchen. I really wanted sushi, so she helped me pick out 2 rolls that didn’t have anything I couldn’t eat. She also alerted the kitchen and let them know to leave off the crunchy bits. We also had miso soup and a really big seaweed salad, I forgot to take pictures of! Everything was delicious and my husband and I had a really nice experience.

ITA Kitchen is home away from home! The second we walked in, our server Anthony made us comfortable! They have delicious seasonal drinks including a gingerbread Moscow mule (see picture). The table side mozzarella is a must order along with the Jules’ Carrozza and the cannoli crumb cake!! They also have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options!
