High ceilings and Southwest decor make Sweetwater Tavern a compelling restaurant. Great sandwiches and sides served by an attentive team of wait staff. They have their own beer on tap. The owners understand the needs of customers who have Celiac disease and offer gluten-free menu without being asked. Worth experiencing!

Our server Eric was very attentive to the needs of our table. Especially because we asked for gluten free dishes. He always checked with the chef whenever we had questions. Fortunately, they were very familiar with Celiac Disease and I had no worries about being able to eat at the restaurant.
I enjoyed a medium rare steak on top of French fries and an over easy egg.
The steak was tender and juicy which contrasted against the crunchy eggs and frencj fries. Everything was delicious and I would definitely come here again!
P.s.Photo is a split portion because it was a shared plate
Expect a cozy vibe with fresh, home-made dishes that keep everyone coming back for more, making it perfect for any meal or event.

This is one of the best restaurants in Falls Church and one that I frequent a lot with family and friends alike. I have never had a bad meal at Fava Pot and have been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - their breakfast is particularly good! Their food is consistently fresh and tastes truly home-made (in the best way). I think I could eat their fava beans or falafel every day of my life and never get tired. The staff is always so friendly! I recently had a catered family-style event from Fava Pot and everyone loved it! Dina (the owner) called me and walked through how much food she thought we needed. We needed gluten-free food due to guests with Celiac and I was blown away with how much care and attention was given towards making sure the food was labeled and Celiac-safe. The catering process was easy and the food was presented beautifully. I would definitely recommend Fava Pot if you are considering them for catering your next event, or just want an amazing meal!
Quaint and vibrant spot with cozy indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for unwinding or catching up with friends amidst a welcoming vibe.

Excellent gluten free scone full of flavor; the service was very kind and quick and the atmosphere is very welcoming and engaging. A bit of a tight fit physically is some corners is the only potential issue. I’d definitely go again to work, read or just chat.
A bustling spot with a lively atmosphere, offering an exceptional menu that delights with every dish and has a generous selection of drinks.

We came without reservations on a busy Friday night. The host said the wait would be 1.5 hrs over the phone but he allowed us to wait by the bar and two bar seats opened up within 20 minutes. The host and bartenders were all friendly and attentive despite a very busy night. Bustling vibe, great menu, attractive dishes (and I like the pasta bowls). Delicious salad and pastas and eyeing other people's food everything looked delicious. I substituted their house-made gluten free pasta which was very tasty and would recommend if you are looking for gluten free pasta!

Great food! Even with technical difficulties leading to no corn tortillas or eggs, everything else is still fantastic! I had the taco bowl with chicken, bacon, rice, beans and sour cream. Yum!! In fact, only thing that has gluten are the flour tortillas.
A spot with a fantastic manager, great service, and a cozy outdoor seating area that's perfect for post-soccer game hangouts.

Despite this being a kitchen that primarily processes wheat products, they managed to keep me from getting cross-contaminated with gluten. The food is good on top of it, not just good for gluten-free. It reminded me of when I was a kid and didn't have to worry about food. 🙂
Favorite restaurant in Falls Church! Best atmosphere—feels like a vacation with Key West vibe and frequent entertainment. Great for kids. Tons of great vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.
Im glad that each place I have visited, they have atleast one employee very knowledgable about allergies. I have severe celiac disease and Im glad I have bever hd a reaction eating. The harissa Vinagrette is sooo soo good on the dish. I love their vegetables! From what I can see the grilled meat is thoroughly cooked yet somehow Juicy!
I recommend.
Colorful and cozy vibes with a mix of flavorful options for various dietary preferences and self-serve fresh juices make this spot a must-visit!

We love Rasa, the food is delicious and they can accommodate all kinds of dietary restrictions- I am vegan and gluten intolerant. Even better than the food is the service - Claudia is so sweet! We have been going there since I was pregnant and she always remembers us and our son :) We will definitely be back!

They bring the food to the table. With metal forks and knives. I recommend they also get sturdy dine-in bowls. Clean setting. Polite staff. They ask how the food is, as servers do at full service restaurants. Gets quite busy in the evenings. Gluten-free pasta option. Tofu option. Good family spot. Booths and one large circular table. Outdoor seating in contemporary shopping plaza.
Charming spot with a cozy vibe and unique menu items, perfect for breakfast or brunch cravings, plus free parking available nearby.

Besides oatmeal, and an overpriced avocado toast you can order with no egg/no protein, there’s nothing for vegans/plant-based eaters here. To the owners: I wish you put in a little effort to be more inclusive, especially in a place situated in the greater DC metro area. You can offer the option of serving the avocado toast with black beans on top. It’s so cheap and low-effort to use a batch of canned black beans with lemon, olive oil, and light seasoning and adding it on toast. You can easily offer egg and dairy-free pancakes (there are so many recipes online now, some even made with oat flour, which would also make it gluten-free as well). A vegan BLT made with tempeh-bacon or tofu-bacon is probably too much to ask for, but would also be great, some day in the future when more cafe-owners catch up with the endless amounts of easy and low-cost (and protein-filled) plant-based recipes there are out there. I hope you will think of your potential plant-based clients and provide options for them in the future.

The good was delicious and the waitress was extremely friendly. When I told her I have a gluten allergy she was very knowledgeable and explained what all on the menu could be made gluten free. Definitely check this place out. If you decide to get a spice level btw medium is pretty dang hot!

My favorite gluten friendly Thai spot. Their massaman curry is delicious, I get it at least once a month, and they're always very attentive to gluten allergies.

August 2023, back at GD. GREAT experience again today. Our server Selma was great. My salmon was perfect and my son loved their breaded cauliflower❤️ my white sangria was fantastic - and finally in a wine glass. ❤️
July 2023 - Loved my experience at GD on Columbia Pike. My salmon was delicious. My sister has major allergies, and they offered an array of gluten Free options. While there was a slight error in her meal, our waitress (Sydney - who was fantastic btw) fixed it right away, and the manager even came out to make sure we were okay! White sangria was delicious - although I would prefer to have wine in an actual wine glass. Loved my experience. Will be back again.🙂
Stopped by yesterday, owner was amazing, his "beer-tenders" we're knowledgeable & professional. 35 Beers on tap, about 150+ in their cooler. They serve flights, pints, crowlers, and growlers; a Craft Beer drinker paradise!
They serve food which was amazing we had 3 flatbeards, an order of wings. and they're house made beer cheese. it's a relaxed, clean, family friendly place.
They have gluten-free options, and a downloadable rewards app or loyalty app (neat idea). I'm not in Falls Church often but when I am I'll make sure to stop by again, a hidden Jem.

So, I do like this place. It's a local shop and they roast the coffee on site. That's awesome. It stays pretty busy even though there is a Starbucks down the street. You can also order ahead which is convenient, but you still have to park behind the building and go in which takes a little (seriously, a little) more effort than parking at Starbucks. Not their fault.
If you want to go there to work, better get there early. People go there and camp out. They're ordering coffee and being good patrons, but that means there isn't a high turnover rate of tables. I really love all the plants and the big, sunny windows. It feels very warm and it's my favorite place to kill time.
I usually get the matcha latte which is average at best. For some reason they don't have coconut milk and the almond milk feels too thick.
The food there is good and original. I like that it varies and that it's not mass produced (like Starbucks). However, this also means that if you like something, it may not be there next time.
I've only had one thing there that was difficult to finish. I can't even remember what it was other than that it was a ball. If you see it (and it's gluten free) pick anything else. Seriously. Go for the gluten and get their bacon biscuit. It's DELISH!
My only other complaint is that it closes pretty early. I wasn't expecting that. This is not a spot for afternoon coffee or a date-meet-up. All in all, a good spot if you're in Falls Church and definitely worth checking out instead of Starbucks.
I like Pho Cyclo a lot; a simple and friendly place where I can get vegetarian and vegan pho soup or other dishes. My friend can get gluten-free dishes - and they are all very tasty and moderately priced.
Warm, fresh chips paired with delicious salsa and a refreshing virgin piña colada make for a vibrant and enjoyable experience here.

Amazing. The chips and salsa are delicious - chips come out warm and fresh. We came to try the virgin piña colada. Lots of gluten free options too. Servers are friendly and quick; our waiter Martin was great.

In all, this place was good and it's a great option if your shopping in Tysons but don't want to eat in one of the mall restuarants. The flavors were all there, the menu has a great mix of items and the gluten free options were great. While.one of out 3 dishes came out barely warm the rest were fine. Thebservice was adequate. We typically like to ask the server what some favorites are on the menu to get their perspective, but this time our server jist listed everything, so wither they were new or just didn't have handle on what we were asking. Overall we'll go back though when we are in the mood for some BBQ.
