Had dinner here last night. Booked in advance and indicated that someone with a gluten allergy was present. They dealt with it very well, explained everything clearly from their own point of view on how they dealt with it. They knew exactly what they were talking about. The food was super tasty, good, fast service and a cozy atmosphere on the terrace.
Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

Went for the first time last Saturday. Very hospitable and helpful, as I eat gluten-free and lactose-free. Multiple options possible. And what a great service! Our 2.5 year old daughter had a great time in her own 'kitchen'. Highly recommended if you have allergies and/or children!

The Pannenkoekenboat in Rotterdam is a real highlight for families. During the 75-minute boat trip, you will not only enjoy impressive views of the Rotterdam skyline, but you can also help yourself to the all-you-can-eat pancake buffet. 
For the little ones there is a great play area with a ball pit, which provides lots of fun and allows parents to enjoy the meal in a relaxed manner. 
The organization on board is top: the tables are assigned in advance, which ensures everything runs smoothly. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more pleasant.
Particularly worth mentioning is that special dietary needs are taken into account: gluten-free and vegan pancakes are offered, so everyone gets their money's worth. 
Overall, an all-round successful experience for young and old!

Cute but expensive and they don’t have the price-quality balance quite right, but at the end of the day hot gluten smothered in hot butter and powdered sugar is a delight.
However paying 21 euros for a kids pancake and a large portion of the poffertjes, given that that the batter was a little off in how it tasted not something we will be doing again.
The interior hasn’t changed in 30 years which is part of the charm, but I do expect their rent has gone up which they have passed on to the customer, because making pancakes and taking them to the beach is a fraction of the costs that you end up paying here.
But the kids were happy and they’re very friendly and jovial—the interior design is still from the 1990s.
