The service was lovely and as someone with coeliac disease, I felt very safe eating here (the server let me know that the original owner’s wife is celiac, and so that made me feel like they would have a good understanding of cross-contamination). The eggs and hashbrowns were just OK and the chicken sausage and the pancake that I had were pretty good.
Discover a vibrant eatery serving delicious vegan dishes, where every menu item impresses, making it a must-visit for diverse dietary needs.

This place is fantastic.
I have celiac and a wheat/oat allergy and the staff was knowledgeable about all allergens for menu items. I had no bad reactions to the food afterward.
The food is delicious too - I'm an omnivore who eats vegan/vegetarian a decent amount. It stands amongst some of my favorite restaurants ever (non vegan included). Did not think it being vegan detracted from flavor whatsoever.
Highly recommend, especially if you have gluten sensitivity.
Vibrant spot with generous portions and a laid-back vibe, perfect for brunch lovers looking for creative dishes and quick service.

I liked the food and the staff was very nice and friendly, they seemed like they did want to be there. The food was good, there were many gluten friendly options. I also liked the drink options and flavors. the mimosas say they’re puree but it seemed more
like a puree syrup.

Peppers in my omellet were noticeably fresh. My wife stopped talking with me to eat her gluten-free waffle, for 5 ish minutes all she said was, "It's so good!". And I never got to the bottom of my coffee.

We needed fast service for 6. I know, how could we ask but we were going to ifly across the street for a reservation time in 1 hour. Clarissa and the staff made it happen. With friendly service and great gluten free choices. We will be back tomorrow for another meal, this time we will not be in a hurry.

Werewolf American Pub in San Diego's Gaslamp District is a must-visit! Their brunch, served daily until 3 PM, is top-notch, offering a variety of delicious options. The menu features elevated pub fare with unique twists on traditional brunch items, making each dish memorable. They also offer a fantastic selection of gluten-free items, including GF buns and GF pancakes, ensuring everyone can enjoy their amazing food.
We especially enjoyed their cocktails — they have a great menu featuring both classic favorites and creative, unique drinks that are perfect for any occasion.
A special shoutout to Fiona, who was absolutely the best server! Her friendly hospitality vibe, impressive gluten-free knowledge, and attentive service made our experience even better. Plus, they offer $12 flat-rate parking with validation at the Horton Plaza Garage for up to 3 hours. Highly recommend checking it out!

My gluten free 11 year old is on a boys trip with his Dad. He called me specifically to ask that I leave a 5 star review because he loved the gluten free chocolate chip pancakes so much. He ate 4 of them in 10 minutes. He was one happy customer.
Great spot for pancake lovers to customize their breakfast experience, offering unique batters and a fun DIY vibe.

Actually came here for Yelp event and took an order to go.
It was just the plain Buttermilk Pancakes and Whipped Mascarpone topping. I actually wanted the red velvet pancakes but they don't have those to go to avoid any cross-contamination on their griddles at the back. The custom flavors are only available for stove top. To go orders were for gluten-free or buttermilk pancakes only.
That said I actually really loved even those buttermilk pancakes so I can only imagine how good the red velvet must be! Just the right amount of sweet and I didn't even need to add any toppings on it.
Mascarpone was perfectly smooth and delicious on its own as well.
Really looking forward to coming here and making my own pancakes sometime soon.

What a Find. Four people, four different breakfasts turned out to be four delicious meals. I must eat gluten free and didn't expect there'd be much for me other than eggs. Surprise, surprise, not only did I find their massive sized gluten free pancakes delicious, my gluten eating family members all agreed.
Our server Nancy was super friendly and attentative and the rest of the staff acted like we were old friends. The next time we're in the area we know where we'll go. Do yourself a favor and don't miss the Broken Yolk Cafe.

Cute spot and opens early! There were Gluten free pancakes and other options, but you'll need to ask the server to double check regarding allergies. Service was great and the food was tasty. Everything came out fast. Atmosphere was good, especially for an early morning crowd.

Really nice little cafe for breakfast. I was pleased to have gluten free pineapple upside down pancakes. They were so good, you didn't even need syrup!
