The metro have been amazing. The restaurant has been great with making sure the food is coeliac friendly for our gluten intolerant friends. This place comes highly recommended on my list of go to places for a feed. It's so good I even order it to work far too often. đ
A lively spot with a chill vibe, solid craft beers, and a fun atmosphere perfect for family hangs or drinks with friends, minus the rush.

We have been going to the Family Hotel Maitland (aka Culture Club) too many times to keep count! From the cool vibe and the friendly team with fun banter, youâll feel right at home with your friends or fam here.
Awesome selection of craft beers with a rare spot in town to sit at the bar, itâs a great place to meet for a drink or dine in. Plus they make the best caramel espresso martinis in town!
Nice variety of food on the menu that has gluten and dairy free options, bringing their quality from a former local fave Coquun to the pub scene. Love the beef brisket salad, barramundi and chips and was surprised by how delicious the salt and vinegar Brussel sprouts are! If you stop in for lunch, you can grab a coffee from the Bearded Cactus on your way out too.
See you again soon guys!
Great pub. Well above average pub feed! Friendly staff and great service. Good gluten free, vegan and veggie options too. Ask for the side of mash with creamy garlic sauce - you wonât regret it.
A must-visit spot known for outstanding desserts and a cozy vibe, perfect for family outings and sweet cravings.

What a disappointment! Ambience, location and vibe of this place is lovely. Staff friendly but lack knowledge of menu and food regulations. I am Coeliac and ordered a gluten free menu item and specified that I was coeliac when placing my order. When the food came to the table, I was informed that the food contained traces of gluten as it was cooked in a shared fryer. I explained that I could not eat this and reinforced that I had specified coeliac when I ordered. I then had another staff member/perhaps manager come and tell me that the meal is gluten free but just not suitable for coeliac as it is cooked in a shared fryer. After much back and forth we had to agree to disagree that once the gluten free food goes into a shared fryer it is no longer gluten free. In any case I changed my order but had to wait for another meal to be cooked. When we had all just finished our meals we were told we would have to leave as our table was booked for another booking. At no time had we been told our booking was only for 45 minutes. We had no time to have a coffee, we just had to leave.
So very disappointing and I will not return, ambience only counts for so much.
