I really enjoyed the Greek salad which was made gluten free for me. It was fresh and delicious with big green olives and creamy feta. Thank you Brown Sugar!
Unique spot with a fantastic selection and the option to bring in your own catch for frying—definitely worth a visit!

Travelled down the north island with a coeliac this evening and found this place on the Coeliac New Zealand FB page. I phoned and we were told they have a separate area. Ordered and got two packages- one for the gluten folks and another for the coeliac. both were absolutely delicious and this place was super busy. it's a good hour from where we live but we'll be coming back up here for dinner. LOVE that this place is safe for coeliacs.

Stopped here (at the cafe) on an intercity bus for lunch. I had a very tasty burger (massive actually), packed with tasty salad and delicious tomato chutney. The beef patty was juicy and very nice. Fries were included, and with a gluten free bun it came to $21 (great price for NZ). All around a really good meal, and very friendly staff.

The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. I visited at the weekend and during the week and this remained the case on both visits. The coffee was great and there was a selection of gluten free cabinet food as well as on the menu. What a great location in The Victoria Esplanade.

Love this place! Will definitely be going back soon. Went for a working lunch and the people working were very friendly and helpful. The food was so delicious, with a wide variety of options depending on diet, diary free, gluten free etc. Highly recommend
Gluten free salmon bagel!! Was very tasty with a generous serving of salmon. What a find! There's a small gift shop in the cafe too that sells a variety of wee treasures.
I had a gluten free burger and absolutely loved it! One of the best burgers I have had in a while, highly recommended if you’re looking for a burger place in the area!
A chill spot with a cozy vibe, perfect for unwinding, though service can be slow and orders may not always match expectations.

Nice place to eat in Marton. Service was friendly and helpful. Lots of df/gf options. Food took a while to come out, especially as it seemed quiet. Biggest issue was my partner ordered dairy free/gluten free sandwich but it came out with cheese (not vegan cheese). We didn't bother mentioning it to the staff as they were getting ready to close up for the day and we just took what we could out of the food. My Spinach and mushrooms were very garlicky, much more than I prefered. Hash stack was nice, as we're the chips. The tea was delicious.
A cozy spot with regularly changing art displays and a tranquil vibe, plus a solid choice of cabinet food options to enjoy.

Selection of cabinet food, including a few different gluten and dairy free options.
Small local business trying to get going in this wonderful spot. Was quiet and peaceful when we visited. Art display changed regularly. I understand they're hoping to open their kitchen for menu meals in time.
Went in for coffee and to share some fries. Fries were cooked wonderfully, and coffee was great. We also got a gluten-free carrot cake, which went down a treat.
So cute, three plant based milks available, coconut soy and almond. Gluten free food available too, couldn't see any vegan options but definitely vegetarian options.
