Shocking experience. Chose here due to dietary requirements and previous good experiences. Booked the table for 5.45pm, by 6.30pm we still hadn't received our food so queried with staff as people who came in after us had theirs and we were on our way to a show that started at 7.30pm. Was told our food was next, 15 mins later still no food....we are then told there was an error and our order didn't print in the kitchen did we still want the food and they could prepare it in 5 mins. We are offered a round of drinks as an apology. As I'm coeliac, I didn't really have a choice of other places to go at short notice. 15mins later it arrives, it's just after 7pm so I ask for the bill so we can pay, eat and leave asap. The table next to us asks for their bill after us and receive theirs first. We have to ask for the bill again. Really disappointing we had to repeatedly ask about the waiting and for the bill, we then had to rush our food and to add insult to injury we were then charged for the 'free' round of drinks. By the time I noticed, I was checking the receipt when practically running to the show, as we had 5 mins to get there. Such a shame as the food was lovely.

Absolutely love the atmosphere of Bistro Pierre, it's calm and welcoming. The food was excellent and the staff are allergen vigilant and able to adapt most dishes to be gluten free.

Only came for drinks but staff very friendly and service was fast with a lovely space. I’m coeliac and noticed that they do gluten free breakfasts, sandwiches, toast and falafel!

We called in today 4th Feb and was served by Kerry and Eden who were both very helpful there knowledge of both the gluten free beer and food was very good and they made our visit very worthwhile the carvery was excellent and we will definitely call in again

Interesting… meant to be their gluten free weekend and they serve me gluten on a gluten free meal. It was sorted however, it’s not great when you have a gluten allergy. Not sure if I’d visit again

Enjoy going each time, the staff are very friend and the service is great. The brunch menu is tasty and their hot drinks. Love that they cater for vegan and gluten free dietary needs/preferences.

Visited here on Friday for lunch with my sister. We're both vegan and have been wanting to come for ages. To say we were spoilt for choice would be an understatement. Took us ages to decide what to have. We opted for the Doner Party to share and loaded jerk fries. Absolutely delicious and clearly freshly cooked. Portions were very generous, too. Also noticed there were quite a few gluten-free options. Staff were really friendly too. Would 100% recommend any will definitely be returning!

'Valentine's menu' We previously had a taster menu which was exceptional. The Valentine's menu in comparison was disappointing in comparison. The restaurant wasn't full, but service was delayed or didn't arrive at all. The gluten free option on the main course simply excluded the gluten element with no alternative.

The most incredibly tasty food made by the most gorgeous humans! Gluten free and vegan, everything I've had has been so delicious, I'm so excited when I can squeeze a visit in. Good and spicy, genuinely great mexican food, the best in Notts!!

Amazing Sunday cavery! Super accommodating for those with gluten allergy, received gluten free Yorkshire, stuffing and gravy separate from the carvery and most of the carvery was gluten free also! Makes a change from just getting offered extra veg at other places when I always say yorkies and stuffing are the best part of the roast 👌🏼 will definitely be returning, also we we wanted to move outside before having dessert as it was warm weather and the lovely staff were more than happy to escort us and help us out to a nice decking area as we’d never been there before. 10/10

Chose this pub for a meal for an 87th birthday treat based on the online menu which seemed to have something for everyone in our party of 7 people @ 6pm on a Thursday evening! ( Gluten free & pescatarian) There are not enough superlatives to describe the food quality, service & atmosphere it was simply WOW! We sadly didn't take photos of the meals but they were all delicious, substantial & piping hot & very reasonably priced. Blade of Beef, Fish Pie , Crispy Salmon fillet & Chicken & Leek Pie deserve special mention! Service was great, welcoming & attentive even though the restaurant was very busy! Can not recommend highly enough & if we're ever in the area again, we will make a point of returning.

Beautiful breakfast! I've had coeliac disease for 13 years and this is the first breakfast I've eaten out that did gluten free sausages, I usually end up just having bacon, egg and hash brown and paying the full price of a breakfast but here I was able to eat all that came with the breakfast including the toast. The quality of the ingredients and the way it was cooked was spot on. Would definitely recommend!

Love Avocafe. It has great, healthy food options, with several Gluten-free for me. There's a nice relaxed vibe, nice decor, the staff are friendly and helpful....and it's possible to park close by. Any time I'm in the area I go there.

At a party in the upstairs room on Saturday Feb 10th. Amy(?) with pink hair could not have been more helpful. Guy behind the bar was helpful too Food was lovely and gluten free options, together with gluten free bear made it an extra hit with my coeliac family members. Dance floor had air con! Excellent. Came here for Monday lunch such a nice surprise Wasn't expecting much to be gluten free but was given a menu showing all gluten free pies and lots of things could be modified to be gluten free. Lovely view of the robin hood statue

Has a very good range of craft beers which are changed out on a regular basis, also on my last couple of visits they had gluten free ales on draught. Food is reasonable and they have offers on through the week, 2 for 1 pizza is my favourite.
