A hyped up place on lots of GF/DF Edinburgh blogs. The staff were friendly and accommodating, Coffe was good, but sadly not a great review from me. Party of 4, prebooked. We arrived hoping for some yummy or interesting breakfasts as the menu seemed to promise. Their gluten free options were limited and the bread served was horrendous quality, not even toasted or buttered?! We paid between £11 and £17 a head. The food was mediocre at best. Would've liked to try the french toast as that looked and smelt amazing!...but it is only available with dairy. Poached eggs tasted of vinegar.
I would not recommend the items we chose: za'atar spiced scrambled eggs on toast with spicy hollandaise, fresh coriander & jalapeno salsa - very meh and surprisingly flavourless.
poached eggs on toast, + mushrooms + gf bread - tiny mushrooms grilled into oblivion, possibly the worst gf bread ever, untoasted and unbuttered.
hummus on sourdough toast with cherry tomatoes, pickled shallots, za'atar, salda verde, capers & crispy chickpeas - the most interesting of all that we ordered, but really needed more salt! Anyone else of hummus being the go-to for vegans?
Unique cocktails and beautiful dishes make this spot a must-visit, with rave reviews for standout flavors and a vibrant atmosphere.

Wow, this place was just amazing. We spent 2.5 weeks in Scotland and this was probably our favorite restaurant/meal of the trip. Food and cocktails were amazing. I can’t have gluten and even their meals with no gluten ingredients were fantastic. Wish we had time to go back a second time.
With a stunning vibe and cozy booths, it’s a perfect spot for celebrations, offering attentive service and a great atmosphere.

Food here is just brilliant. I had the Thai red curry. As a coeliac, their gluten free food options are excellent. I was also served by Adarsh who would extremely accommodating and pleasant mannered. Very welcoming on arrival and knowledgable of the gluten free options.
(Was too hungry to take a before pic, so here’s the aftermath)

Antijitos is an all-vegan and gluten-free taco establishment located in the Omni Centre, near Edinburgh Waverley Station and John Lewis. The accommodating, friendly staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. It is situated amidst the trendy Edinburgh Street Food alongside diverse vendors, making it an ideal choice for groups with varied preferences.
I opted for the trio of soft tacos, sampling a variety of enticing flavors. Beyond the delicious flavours, the vibrancy of each dish adds an Instagram-worthy allure. The strategic location, coupled with the colorful presentation and diverse menu, renders this taco haven a compelling post-shopping or post-travel retreat.
In addition, it's worth noting that the gluten-free nature of the dishes, though not immediately evident, ensures an inclusive dining experience without compromising on taste or quality. This attribute adds an extra layer of appeal for those seeking gluten-free options without sacrificing flavor.
This spot offers a cozy vibe with delightful desserts and unique bubble waffles, making it a fun spot to satisfy your sweet tooth.

I got the chocolate cake with ice cream. The cake was, frankly, rubbish. Cake was tasteless, I think it was gluten free or vegan or something, but it was lacking/missing something. The vanilla ice cream was the same, tasteless and gritty, not at all smooth and didn't really melt that easy. I think Asda's own ice cream would be better. The chocolate sauce was pretty good though, but that really shouldn't have been the highlight
A vibrant spot with tasty options and quick service, perfect for a pre-show bite while exploring the city vibe.

Good place to visit for burgers, excellent choices and tater tots as a side are great. The rear dining space is impressive but very large & only half full on our visit so there was very little atmosphere. They offer gluten free burgers which are good but half the size of the non-GF equivalent.

This wonderful wee retro cafe is definitely my favourite. They offer excellent gluten free options including lots of cakes, the best matcha lattes and fantastic food, and the staff are so warm and lovely - always the obvious choice for weekend brunches with my friends/ anyone visiting me. Highly recommend!
