Great fish and chips, felt self ordering Gluten Free as staff were very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Lovely fresh fish and crispy chips and batter. The eating space upstairs was quiet but the chair cushions were a little worse for wear. The only downside is we could use the toilet as it's cleanliness was not quite up to standard. We will definitely be back!
Celebrate special moments in a beautiful space with top-notch service, delicious cocktails, and a menu that impresses at every turn.

Has a separate gluten free menu with items clearly labelled as being on set menu. Good set up in this regard. I really enjoyed my meal, but found the servings somewhat inconsistent. 3 of us had the beef rump, and all were different sizes and cooked differently, meaning some of my party did not enjoy their meals as much. Good cocktails and starters/desserts were nice. Waiting staff very accommodating.

We went at the beginning of April, it was 2 adults and a toddler. We arrived for lunch time without booking and we just had to wait a few minutes. Needed gluten free options and they were happy to accomodate, advising us whether something might have través of gluten. I had the Persian eggs and my partner the chicken shawarma, toddler needed gluten free option. Everything was delicious and the place quite lovely. I would definitely recomend.

We’ve visited before and wasn’t sure but decided to give it another go. Really happy we did, we had a lovely meal. Gluten free wasn’t an issue and everything was really clear this time around. Service was great too. Loved it and we’ll be back.

The food was fantastic. We all had pizzas and one was a gluten free base. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Incredibly dog friendly. The outside seating area is luxurious with wicker arm chairs covered in faux sheepskin and cushions; bunting galore and creative/abstract and fun decoration. Definitely will visit again.

Had a good choice of gluten free options on the menu, but it felt like the waiter taking my order didn't take my intolerance seriously enough. The food itself was ok, although some dishes were cold upon arrival at the table.

Staff were great, accommodated a party of 6, always busy and buzzing. They accommodate gluten free which is great (bake their own bread) - no hash browns unfortunately which is a little strange for a classic brunch spot. Don't expect anything flash, just good honest grub.

Beautiful terrace overlooking the river which was a great spot for an excellent roast on a Sunday. First gluten free yorkshire pudding our coeliac has ever had as well!

Fantastic food here. As I'm gluten intolerant, it's not always easy to find really nice food when out and about. To be able to have gluten-free garlic bread and a lasagne was great. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

Wonderful! Maria was amazing and handled all our dietary requirements so well. Delicious roast, large portion size, lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend! One of the best roasts in York, and definitely THE best if you're gluten free! Thank you so much.

We visited the three cups yesterday and I was impressed, the staff went out of there way to accommodate my requirements, being gluten free they made sure that my needs were met without any fuss, the staff didn't make me feel I was being a pain, food was lovely and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. A+ 😊

Service was quick and polite but they advertise as caters for gluten free but what this really meant was a menu the same as the normal one but with almost everything crossed of as not gluten free, leaving a couple of cakes and a fruit salad.

An overall disappointing afternoon tea experience for a gluten-free person.
-Supermarket bought cakes (clearly from Sainsbury's) on gluten free afternoon tea plate.
- 'cheese parcel alternative' for me was just a piece of white toast and cheese, not an equal alternative.
-£5 extra for the pleasure of a GF option which as noted, felt like poor effort and poor quality
Unfortunately Plush under delivered and over charged for what I got here.
Positives: Coffee and scone were good and clearly homemade
Summary: please make better gluten free options and don't buy supermarket cakes or biscuits for the afternoon tea, it is unfair to charge extra for this lack of service.
Suited all our party, nut allergies, gluten intolerances, meat eaters and veggie preference. Sweets looked nice too but I didn't have room - too stuffed

We needed to find somewhere reasonably priced in York to eat last minute when staying there for a few days. We didn't want 'posh' food out to spend a long time there, and this fitted the bill perfectly. The food was really tasty (a risotto & a pizza), the service good and there was plenty of choice of gluten free dishes. The only minus to it was that it's very very cramped and the tables are on top of one another, and chairs are not very comfortable. It means it's noisy, not private and not the sort of restaurant to go to for a romantic meal or if you want to sit for a long time comfortably. However the good thing about the fact that it's busy is that there's a lot of atmosphere. The fact that it was almost full on a Wednesday night shows it must be popular.

We were 4 walkers on the Yorkshire Wolds Way and ate dinner here after a day’s walking. We all loved the food as well as the friendly and helpful service. Gluten free options were readily available.
Expect giant, mouthwatering pizzas in a cozy, dog-friendly vibe, although the basement seating might not be as charming as the main area.

The pizzas were ENORMOUS and delicious, well worth the trip we've been meaning to do for ages! Our table was in the basement which wasn't as nice as main restaurant but we were just glad to be there. Dog friendly & also catered (unofficially) for my gluten-intolerant friend with a little side bowl of roast veggies
A must-visit for a memorable experience with a diverse menu and quick service that keeps guests coming back for more fun!

Got booked in to the last available table at 8pm Saturday night. I am coeliac and the owner/chef went through the full menu telling me what she can adapt for my needs. I was served pretty much everything I wanted catered to my needs. Throughout the meal snacks/gluten free treats were brought out for me on the house. Great experience the bbq was very fun for the table to use. Will definitely be going back and recommending to others!
Wonderful food, gluten free available which is amazing. The only place there that was. Chips were great corn was amazing. I was very impressed. Would definitely go again. Friendly and helpful.

The cafe is AMAZING. I am gluten-free and my friend is vegetarian and we were spoilt for choice. The chai and matcha were both so good, and the hot honey halloumi hash brown stack was possibly the best brunch I've ever had. The cafe is aesthetically lovely and the dog picture walls are so adorable. The staff are lovely too, so friendly and approachable - this place is a solid 10/10.
