It’s a pity we only discovered this restaurant on our last evening in Pisa. We were truly impressed. Both the regular and gluten-free dishes were excellent. Our daughter had delicious mozzarella balls as a starter. The gluten-free pasta and pizza were absolutely delicious, as were the desserts. The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. According to our daughter, it was the best gluten-free pizza she has ever had – and we can only agree. There was no difference compared to our regular (gluten-containing) pizza. That’s why we ended up coming here three times during our stay. They have a separate oven, and the staff is very knowledgeable. We came to eat a pizza in the renowned GUI and left not fully satisfied. Starting from the environment, there are areas in the room that are dark, in which you cannot see what you are eating. As for the service, we found people who were cheerful and polite but not very attentive: I am gluten intolerant and I was given an entree, without explaining what it was or specifying whether or not I could eat it (and if I had eaten it?). We also encountered some pressure regarding clearing the table.
The gluten-free pizza was good in terms of taste (more similar to focaccia perhaps), but practically absent tomato, which instead was included in the selected type. The other pizza however was very good.
The price, honest all things considered.
I don't know if I would go back.
