Although the service staff looked very busy, their service attitude was very friendly. Because we did not have a reservation on the day of travel and did not have a local mobile phone number, the service staff first asked us to walk around the area and informed us in advance that we would have to wait 10-20 minutes before we could be seated.
BANH CA PHE / VIET COFFEE TRIFLE has a layered texture. The fresh cream, shortbread and cake body are combined with the coffee jelly to blend the bitterness and sweetness. I personally recommend that two people share it.
PHO DAC BIET The soup part is average, the noodles seem to have been cooked for a long time and have a bit of a mushy texture, but the meat slices are soft and delicious. In addition, I am not sure whether the steak we ordered that day has too much gluten and is a bit chewy. The sauce is rich and not bad, but it will be a bit greasy after eating too much. There are also other meals, which cost about 75-80 Australian dollars per person. Personally, I think the CP value is low.
I arrived SO HUNGRY after no food options at Zoo all day. Staff were super helpful and knowledgeable helping me select best value for money and within my pallet. 100% GF and so so delicious that I don’t have a photo I ate it so fast! I’ll be eating there daily for the rest of my trip !
A vibrant spot with generous portions and a tantalizing mix of flavors, perfect for a hearty meal experience!

We enjoyed the chicken satay and Penang curry, lots of vegetables and meat although maybe a bit too much fish sauce. Very good attentive service and the portion sizes are huge. Would recommend the menu is updated to show which options are gluten free. I’m gluten intolerant and the felt good after the curry.
Chinatown gem offers a unique upstairs dining experience with a solid separate menu that keeps things fresh and fast!

Great gluten free Japanese in Chinatown Haymarket Sydney. I ordered gluten free teriyaki chicken with rice and miso soup for lunch. The ground floor shop does not do gluten free and I have to go upstairs (the restaurant) to order the gluten free dish. Good to have a separate GF menu. Hope there are more GF dishes in future.
A cozy spot with nice decor and reasonable prices, but the smell and lift issues could use some improvement.

Pretty good food, reasonable prices. A few gluten free and vegetarian options available. Wish the green curry had a bit more sauce. Friendly attentive staff. Nice decorations, very homely and clean. But smelt like cheap soap which made me feel quite sick…I would rate higher if you can improve the smell. The lift wasn’t working when we went and it’s on the 1st floor, not ideal for anyone with accessibility issues. Hand drier in women’s bathroom not working.

Sunday lunch before the theatre. Menu had limited gluten free options, but the options they did have were fantastic and the menu otherwise included a great variety of classic pub food and a good kids menu. Meals came out incredibly fast and were all perfectly done with generous portions. I had the pork belly, definitely a 10/10.
