Love this place! Gluten free tacos that are the best in town! 5/5 for food.
5/5 for service. Waitress was very attentive and friendly.
The only reason I rated atmosphere a 4/5 is because it was a little loud, but most restaurants are.

Such a comforting place downtown! Staff are always friendly and make great recommendations, the lunch specials are always new, delicious and different! (They also have gluten aware breads and baking) Everything is made with love. The type of place that adds soul and character to the city. Love walking here for lunch and enjoying the energy of everyone around.
They are also very kind to the houseless folks that come for coffee which I really love to see! Great job to city roast!
Experience a lively vibe with unique dishes and a solid drink selection, making it a go-to spot for casual hangs and indulgent treats.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, very attentive service even when it was busy. Kid friendly and gluten friendly options.
Everything we had was super tasty with unique dishes. Yam fries were done to perfection. The brownie was a great size to share and very decadent. Many different options for drinks and the prices were pretty good. The Social Lager is cheap and doesn't taste cheap.
Definitely going back again and again.
Expect a unique vibe here with fresh offerings and a solid reputation among loyal fans, making it a go-to spot for many.

We have been eating here for 10 years, and we can't wait to return. Food is fresh, service is prompt, owner is friendly and ready to give top customer service. My son needs a gluten-free menu, and always chooses Rue On first.
Best peanut sauce any where!

Let's start off by stating that my fiance is celiac; extremely allergic to gluten. Five Guys, not just this location, has always been phenomenal in catering to GF orders. They obviously take pride and great care in preparing excellent quality meals for anyone who comes in. We have been to many restaurants and fast food joints that claim to be able to make gluten free food and oftentimes we leave with my fiance in great pain because of cross contamination. Not so here. We've been to this Five Guys a few times now and have never had an issue with the food. It's always delicious, hot, and ready promptly. The peanuts are an added bonus!
With an inviting atmosphere and a diverse menu, this spot is perfect for a flavorful experience that keeps fans coming back for more.

Enjoyed a large group meal at One Eleven and had an awesome stir fry. I have to eat gluten free due to celiac disease and they have always been careful and knowledgeable about gluten concerns.

Incredible pizza. Gluten free option impressed the wife. Lots of toppings, but they put toppings under cheese. I don't care, wife prefers otherwise. Definitely try out the Donair bites!
Charming spot with quick service and tasty dishes, though options are limited—perfect for a cozy meal on a rainy day!

On a rainy day such as today I was hoping for a big comfort bowl of pasta however no gluten free noodles. Most other restaurants have this very basic substitution and most sauces made with flour can be made with corn starch. Just a suggestion!! Had the steak today instead and was amazing nonetheless. Friendly staff and didn’t wait long for lunch!! Still a win! Sad day to be a celiac pasta lover..
This local gem is loved for its community spirit, warm atmosphere, and fantastic deals like half-off house wine.

Alot of vegan options. But barley any gluten free and vegetarian options together.. I ended out getting a vegetarian pizza with the gf crust and it honestly wasn't good at all. Don't recommend coming here if you have food allergies. Very disappointing...
It used to be my favorite but the frequency of my visits have rapidly decreased over the past 6-12 months.
It's been taking 10-20 minutes after being seated just to get to order a drink. Another 5-10 minutes pass as we wait for drinks even if they are just water. Solution, at least have the hostess bring water for everybody.
The gluten free buns are crap. They used to be good. There are also less gluten free options. Solution, if you're going to limit the previous gluten free options at least purchase good gluten free buns.
They take too long to show up with the bill. Waiting to be able to pay so you can continue your day is disappointing. Solution, don't have the majority of the staff cleaning up the buffet while people are waiting for drinks, food and to pay.
I used to want to go here once a week and now it's past the middle of March and I've only been once this year. Please improve the gluten free options and the service. It's friendly, it's just remarkably slow. Slow enough to ruin the experience.
Went to pizza 73 downtown red deer. I have a gluten allergy and they really respected that. They followed procedures and washed they're hands. Billy at the front counter was so nice and kind. Billy honestly made my day. Such a nice person and gave me a gluten free brownie which honestly makes my week since my birthday was yesterday. :) should make employee of the month.
Subway delivers consistent quality and menus. I know the item I'm expecting will be satisfactory. The GLUTEN FREE sandwich roll was incredibly soft and delicious. If you weren't told it was GF you couldn't tell.
Emily added a real touch of happiness to my day with her upbeat personality and suggestions to add to my meal.
Facilities are clean and well serviced. Subway, always a pleasant fast affordable go to for any meal of the day and nourishing. Just cut back on cheese and sauces to keep things balanced. A nice high antioxidant green tea is on the menu. Voila ..who says eating on the run can't be diet friendly! Subway offers all ends of spectrum hungry man to light salad people. Thanks again Emily. Hope you get that raise your smile says your worth!
The place is not eager to give options for those with sensitivities. Mashed have Gluten here
No one else do
All you can have is boring sides. Why not a baked Potatoe, appetizers that fill you that don't have Gluten. It's been a couple years since we were here.
A go-to spot for a tidy vibe and daily favorites, it’s perfect for hangouts or a quick bite with coworkers.

I don’t care what people say here, But im here almost everyday for chicken souvlaki rice bowl my favorite one 😍 i wish i could eat the pita chips but im gluten allergic.. I brought my co workers here too 😘 place is so neat and clean and the staff are so friendly..
Absolutely delicious food with plenty of gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options. The service is always amazing and the food is incredible quality. I recommend dining in- take out would be a shame because the service is so good.
I don't know what kind of weird experience they are trying to serve up here to normal people who have good jobs and want some high-end cocktails for $20 a drink, but self-admittedly the waitress said they are not "high-end at all". So this is just some of those edgy hipsters having a gag really. Same vibe as Inglewood in Calgary, or RGE RD in Edmonton but literally a joke compared to them. All of four things on the menu, some vegan/gluten nothingness, a burger, battered chicken, and some fish. Red Deer can do better than this, I would never lie, and how these reviews reflect anything otherwise to bait me here is beyond me. I walked away laughing, along did she.
Really good burgers. They have gluten free options which is to remove the bun and wrap the burger in lettuce. They are very careful in making gluten free and my celiac wife has had no reactions from gluten contamination yet. Love the burgers even without the bun. Would definitely recommend if you are in need of a yummy and surprisingly large and filling burger.
A solid 10! Super fresh, delicate flavours and NO MSG. A good amount of protein with generous serving sizes. Easily the best place in town. A lil Thai basil would go a long way. Gluten free as well.
Really good sandwiches. Friendly service. They have a ton of options and make really decent gluten free bread. The prices are a little high, but they are some of the best sandwiches around.
Thanks so much to the girl who rang in the order for the gluten free sweet onion chicken teriyaki and told us that the teriyaki sauce isn't gluten free. They remade our order without the teriyaki chicken. My Celiac husband has got it a few times at other subways and nobody has said anything before. This explains some mysterious sicknesses.

An amazing dining experience. With food sensitivities it is tricky to navigate dining out. The manager Ricardo was great and very informative regarding the ingredients and helped steer me to the best choices for me. The tasty salad bar was clearly labelled with ingredients of each dish and there were dairy and gluten free options. Our favourite meats were the signature beef and the Parmesan Pork (which Ricardo offered to personalize without the dairy). But the big surprise to us was the Grilled Pineapple. Delicious!
I really appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Definitely not available at many other restaurants. The atmosphere was on a Brazilian theme, fresh, clean and inviting. A very novel experience with the servers bringing the endless meat offerings to the table. Nice that if you wanted some meat done more or less, it was a possibility. We spent our evening thinking of who we could bring next. We can’t wait to go back.
A standout spot for thoughtful service that goes the extra mile to make dining enjoyable and stress-free for everyone.

Visited this Harvey’s location recently with my child who has a Gluten sensitivity. Ordered a grilled chicken burger for my child with no bun. When the gentleman who took our order noticed my child holding her own bun, he was incredibly kind & offered to take the bun to the back & have the chicken placed on it as well as offered to cook her a special order of fries to ensure they were Gluten free. These kind gestures were beyond appreciated! To have a fast food order “normally” wrapped that she could eat immediately eat out of the bag without any modifications absolutely made her day! Thank you Harvey’s Red Deer!
Lettuce-wrapped options take the spotlight here, with an open kitchen that shows off their commitment to cleanliness and fresh flavors.

I tried Fatburger for the first time last week. I'm addicted. They offer lettuce-wrapped options for gluten-free people and have sanitary kitchen practices which is obvious because the kitchen is on display for customers. I might have lunch here up to 5 days a week.
Have always had a good time here but as a new recently diagnosed celiac I was a little disappointed at the few options on the menu. Let alone a gluten free menu. When I asked the server if I could get a small salad instead of the table bread the server said "no", without even clearing it from a manager. Instead said I could purchase the "classic" and get it for $10 more. I understand that this is my issue I need to live with but do also feel that if a business is offering something to non-diet regular customers, then a simple accommodation can be made for people who have certain dietary restrictions.
