This delicious gem is a must try on The Danforth for Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine.
We enjoyed the Rendez-Vous Meat Combination plate/platter with a gluten free injera. It was absolutely delicious with nice spice if you like alittle heat. It was nice to also eat with your hands. The customer service was good; our server took the time to explain the options that we didn't understand.
I look forward to our next visit to this restaurant!!!!
Experience a vibrant atmosphere filled with elegant Ethiopian decor and a standout coffee ceremony that leaves a lasting impression.

Literally some of the best food I've ever had. You have to try the masir wat. The service is so good, they make you feel like family. I like spicy food but my partner doesn't, and they offered to bring spices on the side which they didn't even charge us for. I had to order food to go just so I could have more of their food the next day! They also have gluten free injeera which was great for my celiac partner. I went before and got a combo with multiple dishes, would also highly recommend that so you can try everything.
AMAZING food & almost everything is available in a Gluten Free option! This is HUGE! The staff is super sweet and they are really understanding about food restrictions. So happy I found this restaurant.
Enjoy a deliciously unique veggie platter for two with generous portions, perfect for sharing and full of fantastic flavors.

We ordered the veggie platter for 2 with gluten free injera. It had a nice variety of dishes, all of them tasting delicious, and portioned so that we could share the platter without getting into each other's way. It was the best meal I've had in ages
Cozy vibes with strong coffee and tasty platter options, though the meat cuts could use some improvement for a better experience.

Great place.
Had the platter with Beef strips.
All tasted great and they even had Gluten free ingera (made from Teff flour).
Not spicy, could have been a little more bit.
The meat strips had great taste but were really not a good cut of meet. Tons of fat and tendons because some prices I couldn’t even tear apart.
The coffee tastes good and it was strong.
Overall good place. It’s small but cozy.
Newly opened spot on the Danforth features over-the-top burgers, a cozy vibe, and sports on widescreen TVs—perfect for a casual hangout!

Crazy Burger is a burger and bar spot that opened on the Danforth in March 2023. Run by a lovely couple, this place offers over-the-top burgers and sandwiches, and the alcohol to go with it.
Stopped by and grabbed the Monster Mushroom combo. The mushroom burger was good - tasty beef patty, pretty good size and quality, and my favourite part was how generous the mushrooms, cheese and bbq sauce were on the burger. The side fire fries were also good - crispy without being overly fried, tasty enough so you didn't need to lather it in anything.
Place itself is small-ish but well laid out so doesn't feel cramped. There are two wide-screen TVs so you can watch a lot of sports here. Service is efficient and the owners (husband and wife team) are friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back to try their other offerings.
ps: Plant-based burgers are available, and they will also have gluten-free buns soon.
