Absolutely blown away with the service we received tonight.
All the staff were super friendly, polite and the service was so quick. Such a relaxed atmosphere.
My hubby ordered his meal to be Gluten Free so we could share meals, he ordered a side of Mushroom Sauce (not gf) and the manager came to talk to us about the fact it was not gluten free and would put in in a side dish to prevent cross contamination. The extra care blew my mind, you do not find this at many restaurants and to be honest most places I have dined at lately the service has been less than average but not the Lone Star Nelson. If you want good food, great atmosphere and incredible service this place should not be missed.

Oh my goodness..... what a meal! Started with some edamame beans with a garlic twist..... being gluten free, there were only two things on the menu for a main. Not feeling like sashimi, we had the lamb..... exploding with a flavour punch and falling apart with tenderness..... holy crap the meal ended too soon..... so we asked about a gluten free dessert, not disappointed at all!..... the chocolate miso delice was to die for..... the chefs, wait staff and bar persons have truly given us a meal and drinkies to remember..... thank you for your hard work and service for your customers...... The Aperol Spritz was amazing; however, the manager was incredibly rude. One of my friends is gluten intolerant, so we were looking for gluten-free pizza. They had some on the menu, but then they told us they couldn’t make it that day after we had already ordered our drinks. Everything was fine, and we enjoyed our drinks, but we couldn’t order anything to eat and decided to just have drinks and go somewhere else for dinner. When we told the waiter, the manager came over and said we had 20 minutes to finish our drinks and leave. Ten minutes later, he shouted at us, saying he needed the table and that this was not “a bar.”
I can't remember the last time I was treated so rude and disrespectful in a restaurant. Never again!

I usually am a lover of the vic for their gluten free burgers, i’m not sure if they changed the gluten free bun they used or just ran out but it was very soggy and not crunchy at all like usual, please bring it back if you have gotten rid of it
