A surprising amount of gluten free options. Actually sandwiches! Not "gluten free sandwich = wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun," actual gluten free buns and bread. I got a fish sandwich and fries and they were absolutely delicious. As a celiac, I'm always weary of eating out and getting contaminated but I had zero bad reactions after eating here. The location is wonderful, right on the pier. Sea views out of every window. Wonderful sea breeze on the terrace. Great tunes and very friendly personable servers. Really fun place to eat some delicious food!

Waitress had us waiting over 20 minutes for GF pizzas, both were dried and overdone. Basil was obviously not fresh, like they left it too long in the oven or microwaved it after. Not a good service. I pointed it out and was told it was normal. That certainly was not the pizza we were getting with the other shift. This happened two Sundays in a row. I hope the owner is aware. Edit: Most likely the pizza was gluten contaminated since my son just threw up.

Island Cottage Inn is a beautiful romantic spot to stay while in Flagler Beach. The hosts are friendly, kind men. Cafe was closed due to a personal matter and we were provided banana bread and gluten free blueberry muffins along with coffee just for one morning and it was really nice having those staples available to us. The room was beautifully decorated with a tiny touch of color which was perfect. The pool was refreshing as well. They have their own entrance to the beach and they also provided beach towels and nice chairs for the beach! You also have your own parking space which is great! Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to the storm in South Florida that we needed to prepare our home for. We cannot wait to come back for a visit, we will definitely stay here!!

Our waiter Stephen R, started us off with some bread and Italian olive oil, explained the special for the day and we were off. Grand Ocean Sauvignon Blanc, grilled chicken piccata, with penne pasta gluten free I might add, pastas Ala vodka with baby shrimp,Caesar salad with anchovies. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture. If you’re in town, you must go! And I mean it!!!!! Stephen R, you rock! Thanks for a fun experience.

Best service ever! WOW! I was soo hungry but running late for my hair appointment. I stopping in hoping to grab a bag of chips and when I told the guys that I was late for my hair appointment they told me to order whatever I wanted and they would bring it to the salon next door for me. I was shocked. They are so kind and made a bomb sandwich. Even the gluten free bread was great! Will for sure be going back.

The ice cream was incredible, and if you're dairy-free or gluten-free, there are about half a dozen options that aren't just sorbet. The staff was super helpful and even double-checked to make sure the ice cream was gluten-free. Be sure to check them out on your next stop in Flagler Beach.

Hi Tulip Cafe in Flagler Beach, Florida, offers a cozy and traditional dining experience with a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. During our visit, we tried the gluten-free short stack pancakes, as well as the three-egg breakfast with bacon, hashbrowns, and gluten-free toast. The eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns were delicious, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. The gluten-free pancakes were good, though the middle was a bit undercooked, which might be a minor consideration for some. It's worth noting that the gluten-free toast is toasted in the same toaster as regular bread, so there is a risk of cross-contamination if you have severe gluten sensitivity. Overall, Hi Tulip Cafe offers a pleasant breakfast and brunch experience with tasty food and friendly service.

Two nights in a row for dinner. Salmon Special and colossal shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were just that and delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly, slightly adjusted as my wife and I are gluten-free. Tonight we had the scallop appetizer and the grouper. Both were perfectly prepared! Great service. The nicest people! We may very well make it 3 times!

Very gluten friendly! The waitress seems very knowledgeable on gluten allergies and made some recommendations. The cheeseburger is probably the best I’ve ever had, both my husband and I agree! And the gluten free beer is the only gf beer I’ve found since moving here and it’s amazing (but save some for me)! The location is incredible, staff is always friendly, food is the best around!

The five star reviews are well deserved. Great atmosphere and staff. Willing to explain and customize menu options to your liking. For people that are gluten and/or dairy free, this is the place to go. So many options that will fit within your diet restrictions. Not sure what the plans are for this place but would be excited for a larger location and coffee bar with lounge vibe along with the current offering. Really can't say enough good stuff about this place. Egg Bowl Bill and Sunny Morning Toast are beyond words. If you come once, you'll be back.

Had a fantastic time with breathtaking ocean views and friendly staff (with the kids too!), made us feel right at home. The salad was generous and fresh—perfect for a light meal by the beach. While the traditional menu has great options, a few more gluten-free and trendy, contemporary dishes would add even more variety to the offerings. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy the classic flavors we love in a relaxed, scenic atmosphere.

Delicious breakfast and great service. The cutest decor and incredible menu. They even had gluten free toast! Everything was perfectly cooked and the coffees were great. Highly recommend!!

Love being able to sit outside but am surprised that their indoor area is pretty minimal. Food was great. Tried to get the shrimp and grits but the grits are fried into like a loaf of bread so be wanted if you are gluten free. The tacos were pretty good. I got the blackened fish tacos. They were pretty mild for blackened but they were good.

Ocean view and good food, what more could you want? I love the salmon, it's always cooked perfectly, and my husband says the same thing about whatever fish he orders. They now have gluten-free pasta, which gives us more options since we're both gluten intolerant. Still don't have any good hard ciders or gluten-free beer, so can't give it five stars. We're pretty regulars there and the wait staff knows we're gluten-free so we don't even have to mention it anymore, they just know "no croutons" on salad, no bread or bread crumbs, etc. The service, food and view make this one of our favorite places in Flagler Beach.

Excellent service! Customers can book private events and dinners. Visiting the cafe in the morning is especially wonderful. Although there are only a few gluten free options, that doesn't hold me back from enjoying every visit.
