Check in right next to front. Put in name if wait and then take a short walk to check stores. Parking is free in back or in public parking near movie theater. Two individual bathrooms in back. Open floor plan. Dozens of tables. Sourdough gluten free or a one other. Ok for families kids couples. Sourdough is thin crust. Great taste. Wines $8 drinks $13. Single salads $14 and easy for two to three people. Large pizzas good for two. Small is 10 inch and good for one. Staff is professional and friendly. Service and quick but they don’t rush you. The lemon curd cheesecake is a must try. Light and full of lemon flavor.
A top spot in Great Barrington with a flexible menu featuring high-quality local ingredients, perfect for any meal of the day.

We stopped here on our way to Springfield, and had the Chicken Avocado panini and GF wrap. The avocado, bacon and cheddar were fresh , the chicken was tender and the flavor was delicious. We sat outside (the air inside was stuffy/smoky, maybe they need to check the kitchen exhaust?). The outside appears neglected and needs some repairs. Also not sure why the GF version didn’t include a pickle; pretty sure pickles are gluten free.
With a cool vibe and diverse drink options, this spot offers comfy seating inside and out, plus nearby dining for a perfect outing.

Delicious brews for all palates, from a wide variety of Stouts, hoppy IPAs, gluten-free, and infused hard seltzers. How great to be able to taste the different offerings. Plenty of places to sit, from inside to different enclosed, and open porches! And, if hungry, there are many restaurants within walking distances, including Mediterranean, that the brewery permits to take-in. Of course, with food, we had to have a second round!
With an extensive menu and unique charitable Ukrainian rolls, this spot offers a lively atmosphere and tasty bites, despite occasional wait times.

The food is very very good. Large menus with lots of interesting choices. Everything we ordered was delicious. The decor is fantastic with private traditional rooms for you to sit in, great ambiance.
The problem is the service. We tried to order off of the Kaiseki menu after the host (he was very kind and great) told us we could then the waitress told us we couldn’t (it was Sunday so it should be ok per the menu)
There was no cocktail menu at all.
And most importantly, we were excited to order items that were modified to be gluten free. After a long discussion with the waitress about my wife being gluten free, they brought us out a dish they was made with all gluten free ingredients but kept in other ingredients that were not gluten free. When we informed the waitress that she just served us a gluten free item with gluten in it, she was annoyed we didn’t want it.
The food took a long time to come and we were rarely checked on.
We’d go back but the staff needs to be trained on food allergies and customer service.
Chill spot with quick service and unique fresh baked goods, perfect for a midday coffee break.

This is a nice little coffee shop. I stopped in during the day, midweek. It wasn’t packed and we got served right away. I found our barista to be friendly and helpful.
I was happy to see that the offered some gluten free fresh baked goods. This isn’t something I commonly find. Had the lemon poppy cake and it was very good! Paired it with a caramel apple butter hot coffee and it was so tasty!
I’d stop in again!
Excellent food and service. I stopped by without a reservation and the staff were so kind to give me a table. I have a gluten allergy and the waiter was gracious enough to offer me a side of veggies since i could not eat the pita bread they typically serve before the meal. All of the food I ordered was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to stop by next time I am in the area.
Michael of Castle Street Cafe was awesome to work with for my wedding. One of my biggest pet peeve is small potions at weddings. Michael shares in that at no one at the wedding was left hungry that's for sure. The prices were also very reasonable and the food was delicious. My husband loved all of the entrees so much at the tasting that he had a combo plate of all three at the wedding. Michael was great working with the picky eaters and food allergies as well. All my guests raved about the food. The chicken was moist and the steak was incredible flavored. He even made a Gluten free cake.
Expect a fresh and balanced drink experience showcasing unique flavors without the overwhelming sweetness, perfect for a satisfying outing.

We had a great experience at the Boba Train Cafe. The food was very good and the gluten free selections were separated from the other pastries. This is really important to us because my wife has celiac and some places do not understand how cross contamination occurs. The drinks were fresh and not overly sweet. I would recommend this for sure.
