My dad and I both have celiac disease, so finding a safe place where we can enjoy food without fear has been a huge challenge. The Flying V has exceeded all expectations.
The kitchen isn’t “100% certified gluten free” since they do have items on the menu that contain gluten, I have not once experienced cross-contamination symptoms as a very symptomatic celiac. They’re incredibly accommodating and staff is very knowledgeable. There’s also an option when ordering to state you have a gluten allergy!
I’ve been going here for a little over 3 years now (my husband and I make the hour long drive about twice a month) and it’s been worth it every single time.
A hidden gem with awesome crust options and accommodating vibes that makes every visit special.

I’m dairy & gluten free, Brick has the best GF crust AND they have DF cheese! I’m so grateful to have found this little gem! The staff is so friendly and was more than happy to be accommodating! My husband enjoyed his vodka pie as well! We will be back regularly!
Fresh summer rolls and a variety of flavorful dishes keep everyone coming back for more; just double-check your order for any specific concerns.

Hi! The Pho is delicious, and they have in the past known which were gluten-free, such as the Rare Steak. The Thai curry dishes have also been gluten-free as well. We use caution and always recheck if the dish is gluten and dairy free just in case the chef is different, etc.
Their summer rolls are really fresh as well. We get them every time. My 9 year old daughter even likes them. I would recheck on the peanut sauce they use for the rolls. We use coconut aminos or Thai chili sauce for the rolls when we bring the take out home.
The last time I was there, there was a discrepancy with whether or not the Pad Thai is gluten-free. I would use caution with that dish.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with quick seating and customizable options for everyone in your group, making it a fun spot to hang out!

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I have a gluten allergy and they were knowledgeable with the allergies. Didn't take any pictures of food but took a picture of the coffe
My family stops here every time we're in the area. Everybody LOVES the crepes, and the fact that they can be done gluten free is really great for us since some of us have allergies.

What a great restaurant in downtown Bethlehem. Our server, Veronica, was outstanding. Our friends we brought in, she needs Gluten-Free. She has Celiac and this restaurant understands it. Crab cakes are wonderful, the octopus appetizer is very tasty. It’s not real big, but food is great.
A place that truly goes the extra mile, ensuring personalized attention and special handling for unique dietary needs.

I called before doordashing to ask about allergy policies. I have celiac so I cannot eat gluten and the food needs to be prepared with cross contamination in mind. I was sooooo happy when the person on the phone wrote down my name and said she would get everything from separate containers so they won’t have touched anything. Above and beyond and I’m so happy. Thank you!!

I really like the food. It was tasty, made with fresh ingredients. They had gluten-free options that were delicious. The white sangria blueberry sage pitcher went down quite nice. The whole group of us had a really good time.
A mix of hits and misses, with standout dishes like the Soslu Patlican and a tasty Red Cabbage Salad, creating an overall satisfying experience.

Of our five meals three were very good and two came out ok.
A generous portion of Gluten-free options are available if you ask.
Our two ok meals were the Traditional Dumplings and the Gyro sandwich. If the dump kings had less salt they would have been better, the gyro was just plain, nothing noteworthy.
For the three very good entrees we really liked the Red Cabbage Salad with an added skewer of Chicken. Our Soslu Patlican was the highlight of the meal and the Adana and Doner kabab entree was better than expected.
Enjoy a romantic atmosphere with a cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxed meal, plus great patience from the staff for special requests.

The atmosphere was quiet and romantic, and the service was very accommodating. The only critique I have, and the reason for the 4/5 food star points, is that they didn't have many options for those who are gluten free. The only items safe for the gluten intolerant would be the Curries and the Pad Thai. My husband and I sat there for quite some time trying to figure out what would be safe for me. Luckily though, our waitress was very patient and tried her best to help me as I had requested some add-ons/substitutions to my meal. I ended up trying the yellow curry and thoroughly enjoyed it with a request for added chicken and vegetables. I'll definitely be returning to try their other Curries.

We would love to visit again. Not to forget the service was really good and Jessica was great. We had a good time with our new born here :)
So good! Our waitress was so kind about my allergies. She quadruple checked with the chef that my pasta was gluten free. I want to come back and try everything!

We ate outside on the patio with our dogs. Friendly service! The burgers and fries were great. Did not get drinks but the cocktail menu looked really fun and the bar inside was cute. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Will definitely be coming back!

I cant say enough good things about this place!! We held our baby shower at Tavern at the Sun Inn, and we opted in for the tea party buffet lunch.. all of the food was great, and the chef, Dorian, helped to accomodate our gluten free guest. Brianna, the event coordinator was amazing and answered all of my questions through our months of emailing while preparing for the event to ensure everything went smoothly. Scotty and Chase were our servers on the day of the event and they helped with everything from setting up to making the cocktails, etc etc. They were so friendly and fun and accomodated all of our needs. I would recommend the Tavern for ANY event!!
Nice little pizza shop with great food, a large menu, priced right, welcoming staff and cozy dining atmosphere. I had their gluten-free pizza which was a pleasant surprise.
3rd time I’ve been here and every time the sandwiches are amazing. My little man is gluten free and the GF bread was perfect. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming.
This is kind of backhanded praise, but I think the most important thing a review can do is address potential anxieties. Okay, everything about this restaurant shouts "food poisoning"; the atmosphere is very hole-in-the-wall, the food is prepared out front near the customers, and something about the way they cook the sushi rice makes it taste much more sour than other places. But I have been here several times and I have NEVER felt the least bit sick afterwards. And I have a gluten allergy to make things even more risky. In fact, I've been to nicer looking places and gotten a bug there instead. Other a Fish is a lot safer than it looks. The staff is pretty helpful, but it's a little overpriced for sushi. And just because the cramped greasy-spoon look isn't indicative of the actual hygiene you can expect, that doesn't mean it's an inviting atmosphere. Being small is a limitation beyond their control, but they could probably draw in more customers if it at least stopped looking like a basement-rec-room with a grill in the middle. Food's still good though; get the lump crab.

On this chill fall morning I walked right past Jumbars while looking down at my phone looking for it. I’m glad I found it in the end. I had delicious locally roasted coffee and gluten-free corn muffin grilled in oodles of butter to start and ended up ordering a vegetarian Chili omelette. Delicious, simple good food. My coffee kept getting refilled as I did my morning writing. Left satisfied and a little wired. Took their special Pumpkin muffins to go for my husband.
Great service. It was quiet when I arrived but it was packed with a line up of waiting guests when I finished up and left around 9:30am on a Friday morning.

We enjoyed dinner for 2 on a Friday evening. Paid parking nearby. The menu has a great variety, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and nonalcoholic drinks. We were served bread with oil, water of our choice after being seated. The service was great and fast. I have some sensory issues and they really were great and helpful in accommodations. Yosef, the manager was very attentive and compassionate- which I very much appreciated. The food was good and my filet was cooked to perfection. The scallops too. Good food cooked perfectly and served quickly- Kudos to the kitchen staff 👌 👏. The decor is very noire with hints of art deco and Bohemian. This is not a place I would bring my child, but it's appropriate for most occasions.

This place is well named. It is wonderful! I had the Singapore noodles and they catered to my gluten allergy attentively. It was flavorful and not greasy, with mostly vegetables sourced from their owned farm!
