Absolutely love this place. Everything is completely gluten free, and lots of things are also vegan-friendly. The veg pies are my favourite (and I'm saying that as someone who can eat regular pastry with gluten - these are still the best). I'm slowly making my way through the menu and everything is delicious. The owner and staff are the nicest people too. Highly recommended!

We got the gluten free toasties, one with pumpkin and one with lamb. The pumpkin one was slightly better than the lamb but both bread options were hard as rock. We could barely cut through the lamb toastie and the entire toastie was cold, both were cold. Based off the other reviews if you come after 2pm the food is often cold. I would not recommend the gluten free options here.

I can’t rave enough about Cafe Napoleon. It’s our go to when at warners bay, there are menu items for absolutely everyone - we have vegans, coeliacs, and ketos in our family and everyone leaves satisfied. The service is next level, helpful and can easily handle groups. They even provided a candle on my son’s birthday pancakes. My top pick is the biscoff pancakes!

Bought the "best chocolate cake in the world", size up from small. It was still a small cake for the cost ($50+). Was definitely not a true cake was more of a multi-layer flat chocolate meringue (very sugary sweet) with chocolate sauce. It was gluten and nut free for those that need it. Was definitely not worth the price paid. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Walked in late in the afternoon, close to closing time. They were warm, friendly and accommodating regardless. They have a lot (a lot!) of gluten free foods (lots of cake!) as well as a good selection of other cakes, food etc. Everything appeared homemade. Our muffin and GF cake was delicious. As we’re the coffee’s. 100% recommend.

Love this place! We’ve been coming here since our boy was 1wk old and he’s now 15months. Dom & Sarah & Davide & Andrea are so lovely and always welcoming. The food is consistently on point and delish. Our favorite must have is the rocky, salaiccia, bacon&egg roll. I recently tried the truffle ricotta on gluten free bread and it’s to die-for! :) So happy this place is only 5mins walk from our home! It’s definitely becoming an institution here in Leichhardt.

We went for breakfast on a Sunday. The cafe was busy but not packed. We ordered the avocado toast with a side of mushrooms, and another member of our party ordered the Bibimbowl. The avocado was lovely but the “toast” was not toasted and 2.5 mushrooms (which tasted beautiful in a rich umami marinade) for $7.00 is a bit rich. The Bibimbowl came out with a long hair (the dish was replaced and the owner apologised). The karage chicken was wonderful - fresh, tasty and gluten free. But where this cafe falls down is service. On multiple occasions staff were abrupt and outright rude despite us all smiling and being appreciative of their difficult jobs. It creates an awkward experience for diners because the space is stunning - bare concrete skeleton structure with plush white and copper kitchen in the middle). Anyway, I hope it survives because with some customer service training this place could really do well.

Amazing, juicy and flavourful chicken with delicious creamy feta and an actual good gluten free toast. Usually when you ask for gluten free, other restaurants give you bad, unfavourable and short bread. Not loaf. They give the best food and service. Waiters and servers were super kind and helpful whenever I ask for anything. Atmosphere is also great with fun and vibrant music and an overall happy place.

Finally, a REAL delicatessen in the Alexandria + Rosebery foodie haven. The deli counter here is phenomenal , certainly on par with some Haberfield delicatessens. They also have many deli groceries and produce too including really good Italian pasta, a huge range of sauces (if jar sauce is your thing) and even some fresh produce. The panini are absolutely awesome, as are the toasties. The gluten free panino (roll) is almost as good as the 'normal' panino. That is a rarity. The coffee is good, but not the best in Alexandria. The service is satisfactory, without being amazing. But look past that and go for a panino or for the really good deli produce, whether that be sliced or cut fresh, or in a jar, packet or tin. Delicatessens with a huge range of cured meats and cheeses are a lot harder to find than they should be in Sydney, but this one has it all, even if the coffee and service is not up to the level of their food.

Just popping through on my way to the family home for the holidays. I'm recently gluten free and dairy free and the manager (?) was so helpful helping me make choices. Landed on the Mexican Chicken bowl with added Chipotle, (which was a great suggestion btw) and an Antioxidant Berry smoothie. Will def be back next time I'm coming through!

I’ve been going to South Dowling Sandwiches on Kent Street for a couple of years and they’ve always been my favourite. The Daniel is the standout! The sizes are massive, they taste amazing (especially their caramelised carrots) and prices are fair. But what separates them is their service, especially Jordana. I recently was diagnosed as coeliac and reached out to see if there were any gluten free options. Jordana went above and beyond by listing every item for me and even offering me the chance to bring my own gluten free bread to the store so that I could still have a sandwich. She even told me to bring another two slices the first time I did to make my serving the same size as their standard. I highly recommend these guys, everything about them is incredible!

We liked that there was a genuine choice of breads and a broad range of salad options. We found the options of gluten free and vegetarian helpful. One of our meals seemed a little short. Although there are some seats, it was much nicer to take the meals to a local park.

The great thing about S'wich is that they're open until late. I can always get a delicious, healthy and tasty sandwich - on Gluten Free bread! - late on a Saturday and Sunday. Both these things are no easy feats. For this, S'wich gets my vote and I've become a regular. The music on their playlist is great too, so I'm quite happy during my wait. I wish them success and hope they continue with their excellent food. Thanks again for having gluten free bread by the way...

Gluten free avocado Cajun chicken was fantastic. I asked for it to be wrapped up as I was putting in my bag for lunch and they double wrapped it for me! Lovely staff, good location. Lots of variety, fresh options. Gluten free bread was great - not your regular shop bought gf bread - $2-3 extra for gf roll. Would come back!

A pretty good sandwich, but definitely not up to the hype. The san san deli sandwich was incredibly salty. After eating half of it, I had no desire to finish it. I couldn't taste the different types of meat or cheese on there at all, just one big block of salt. The O.G. schnitty was better, but it feels like they put too much emphasis on the show of blowtorching the cheese rather than making a tasty sandwich. The schnitzel was lukewarm, the pickled onions had no acid to cut through the richness of the American cheese, and the san san secret sauce was decidedly underwhelming. The atmosphere in the shop was very strange, the music was so loud I could barely hear the lady trying to take my order, and the generic house music blasting from the speakers reminded me more of a nightclub than a local sandwich spot. Take that as you will, you may enjoy that music, but I think their indoor dining area is a huge waste of space as I would never willingly sit inside and subject myself to that. At $21 each, these sandwiches are not worth your time, especially considering it took the 2 staff members over 5 minutes to make my 2 sandwiches, with no other customers ahead of me in the shop. Go to one of the many local Vietnamese bakeries and get 3 banh mis for the same price, or to the shawarma house for a hot tasty shawarma sandwich for $25. I saw another review mentioned they have GF options, but I didn't see any on their menu, and I was actively looking for them as my wife has Coeliac's disease. I have to say I was very disappointed in my experience at San San, I love the idea of a great deli sandwich spot within walking distance from me, but this just missed the mark. I think they put too much effort into being like every other sandwich spot in Sydney, and not enough effort into making a product the locals actually want.

Honestly, I ate a lot of brownies in Sydney (and around the world as well BTW...) and it's probably one of the best/healthiest brownie I knew in my life, because it's gluten free! It's really delicious, not too compact, but not too light also, and a price definitely correct : $2.5 Small or $5 Big, but the sizes are exactly same, I mean 2 x small = Big (2.5 + 2.5 = 5). The only small problem is for the people doesn't like the nuts or allergic... (macadamia). Otherwise it's one of the busiest fast food of the Sydney (I'm deliver) and one of the best Sandwiches, with salad as well, never try but yeh can't wait to try their salad! Nice staff, really professional, fast, and especially the owner really smiling, funny, and a lot of humor! Love it!
