Read the reviews about the gluten-free fish and chips, and decided to check it out for a date with a Celiac girl. We were blown away, crispy batter, moist tender fish, house cut fries, all in a quiet, tucked away little spot with plenty of old school diner/pub themes. Will definitely be coming back.
Delight in tasty subs with a unique focus on giving back, though be prepared for a bit of a wait and a pricier experience.

Good food, good service, they even had gluten-free bread which I prefer for my diet. One drawback is that they are a little bit pricey. Friend and I had a sub each and two drinks and the total was close to $34. As I understand it they also donate some of the profits so I guess it's not that bad.
Swarma chicken is so good! So is falafel and bacon. I always enjoy pita pit it's my #1 go too for take out because I am gluten free. They have gluten free pita's.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality create a fresh and inviting atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Owner is always there to make sure service and food is top quality. Very clean, very fresh. I get gluten free and they are very careful not to cross contaminate.

The service was ok, server looked like she wasn't very happy, forced smile..
Let's talk about the food, my child's grill cheese was burnt, had to send it back, but got a replacement but that was even worse, not very happy my child was looking at us while we were eating,
Chicken porteblo mushroom, the chicken was so dry and crusty, hardly any gravy sauce..
The steak was ok, but no steak knife instead I used the regular knife..
I had a gluten allergy, I had the chicken med with chickpea again the chicken was burnt on the other side and I guess the cook tried to hide it...
Very disappointed with the service, food, and no smiles...
Will not return..
I wanted to ask for a refund..
Enjoy thoughtfully crafted meals with fresh flavors and a welcoming vibe that make every visit delightful.

Anjali and Raj very friendly, very thoughtful in regards to my order which I needed gluten free bread for sub as well as they made me some garlic bread and a Mediterranean salad which was so fresh and delicious. Thank you Jan
My husband and I use to live near this location, and still will drive two exits down the road to come here (despite now living across the street from a Pita Pit). You can tell the owner here really takes pride in this restaurant. Facility is clean, staff are friendly, and this is one of very few Pita Pit locations that does an excellent job wrapping the gluten free pita (which I know is not easy to work with!). Hands down the best Pita Pit location we've ever been to.
Expect deliciously crafted subs with standout flavors and a unique veggie option that makes every bite worth the slightly higher price.

This is my own personal peeve about a “policy” only this location has. The guys making the sandwiches are awesome. The managing lady will not let the staff cut my gluten free sub in half! Ludicrous! They say they have this policy due to cross contamination but if you wash your knife and then cut it I am not understanding the issue? Instead I am handed a cardboard knife to cut it myself😂. Impossible….since these play knives do not cut. If I’m the customer. And I’m the one with celiac willing to suffer if there is by chance cross contamination, shouldn’t you just wash your knife and cut my sub? Every other location cuts it if I ask. Wash the knife….then cut. Problem solved. Customer happy.
Gluten free made. The employee wiped every surface that gets touched and used with disinfectant clothes. Before starting. Changed the gloves often to ensure the best possible care was taken to lessen cross contaminating. I did not have any issues eating their product. More sensitive people may. I was great!
Exceptional quality and unmatched service make this spot worth the drive for a standout experience that leaves others in the dust.

The best Pita Pit anywhere. The staff here are exceptional!!! The food quality is the best. They deal with a celiac allergy better than any other Pita Pit. My wife and I will make the drive here just because it is that much better than the rest.
So I can't eat wheat and Subway has performed some heckery and proved that gluten free buns don't always have to taste like a brick. Still confused as to how that's possible but my stomach thanks you
A chill spot where the staff takes the time to make sure your choices are just right, ensuring a relaxed vibe for all.

The staff were polite and patient with me and my sister when we were taking our time to order and asked about things like how much hot sauce, gluten free sensitivity, and even double checked to make sure they didn’t put any of the toppings wrong. Overall good experience.
I placed an order via Skip the Dishes this afternoon and I requested gluten free. I have done this many times before without an issue. They unfortunately don’t have the option on the app so I wrote it in the notes. I got a call from a women at Firehouse saying she can’t make my sub and that she will only make it with regular bread. I stated I couldn’t have that due to an allergy. She proceeded to be very rude and say “I need more money which you are refusing to do”. I stated if it costs more then absolutely charge me and I was NOT refusing. I contacted Skip to let them know she needed more money and that I am okay with that. They charged me $2.50 more and said it should be okay now. I called the restaurant to update them in case they didn’t know and this women was SO RUDE. She stated she cancelled my order because I was refusing to pay even though I told her it had already been paid. Skip contacted her again and she proceeded to say “I’m not making this order anymore, I need more money… the amount paid isn’t enough (when I was charged what she stated to pay). Firehouse itself is good but this women working today was a nightmare. The fact that she cancelled my order due to flat out pettiness is ridiculous. I don’t care about the food (or lack there of) it’s simply the fact that this women has ZERO customer service skills. Also.. when someone has an allergy, don’t say you’ll make it anyways. Not impressed.
