They have a very yummy gluten-free bun for those with allergies that I keep coming back for! Malia & Tyler provided exceptional service, and my burger was perfect!

Had a delicious breakfast and piping hot coffee. Delicious. Very attentive service. Wonderful to have gluten free options. Would visit all the time if I lived in Birmingham. Nice spot to eat and do a little work.
A casual chill atmosphere with a diverse menu and rapid service, even during the rush hour, but may have a wait around noon.

I got a salad bar with salmon and my party also got the Rice Krispie bar and a grilled cheese tomato soup combo. It is on par with other Jason’s Deli and I appreciate the options for dietary restrictions like gluten free bread, etc.
Expect top-notch service with attentive staff who take cleanliness seriously and cater to special requests in a bustling vibe.

They changed gloves and were very kind and patient in listening to my concerns to keep my bowl gluten free and prepared it at a different counter. Clean environment and very friendly. Brittany was so sweet and remembered me from my previous visit.
A standout spot that's been revitalized by a dedicated manager, impressing visitors with a personal touch and commitment to service.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Lauren the new store manager here. She has really turned this place around. I ordered a gluten free sandwich for my lunch when I was in a hurry and went in to pick up the sandwich, they did not have gluten free bread in spite of still taking the order. Finally, she came back and personally spoke to me and said to call the next day for her to COMP lunch for me.. She not only did it for myself but for my family. I was so impressed with how much she actually cared me driving down there previously to obtain a order that they could not fulfill. Prior to her being there, the store was not well managed and the customer service was OK. She is awesome! Thank you Lauren! I will for sure be returning back!
Enjoy a nostalgic vibe with a vibrant salad bar and a clean, welcoming atmosphere that has everyone raving about the options available.

This is a great place for a sandwich and a salad bar. We lost our Jason’s Deli at home years ago and were very excited to have lunch here. It was just as we remembered it. They have gluten free bread for sandwiches! The service was great and the place is very clean.
Enjoy a dedicated area for specially made sandwiches with all the right toppings, ensuring a safe and thoughtful experience for everyone.

If you need to eat the gluten free bread, it was great! "Sheriff" did an amazing job at following all the proper steps to keep everything separate and safe to accommodate our gluten free needs.
Service was nice and quick and did their best to save us money. Very accommodating for a gluten free diet because they mark the GF items explicitly on the menu. The food was surprisingly good and I would come again!!
On July 5th I placed an online order for 4 gluten free sandwiches. I was called a little while later saying they canceled my order because they didn't have any gluten free bread. I asked them to refund my card then. The girl said there was no one there that could do it but she'd leave a note for the next day. No one did the refund. I've called the store multiple times and it says voicemail is full. I filed a refund with my bank and somehow Jersey Mike's declined to refund my money. This is all very sketchy. I didn't get my sandwiches but they get to keep over $50. I have also emailed corporate who messaged them and the store was supposed to contact me and never did. What a SCAM!
Charming spot with a cute interior and convenient drive-thru, perfect for a quick bite without compromising on atmosphere!

Our daughter is gluten-free and we appreciate the options for her! She hasn't had a gluten free bagel since our trip to NYC last December. The atmosphere is super cute inside, but they also have a drive thru if you don't have time to sit and eat. We will be back!
I love the hot sandwiches here. The have very good bread options, even gluten free. And kids eat free on Fridays from 5 to 9. They have Stubborn cream soda and root beer. Super good. Staff was friendly and the dining room was clean.
I have to eat a strict gluten free diet. (Celiac) Jersey Mike's chains carry gluten free bread. The staff at this location took the time to accommodate me and kept a friendly attitude while doing so. Thank you.
I have a gluten allergy, and they are so diligent about wiping down the counters and changing their gloves before preparing my sub. I am always so impressed by the customer service and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure they don't cross-contaminate my food! And the gluten free bread is SO good!
This is a pretty tasty sandwich shop aimed toward a female clientele. They have several types of chicken salad as well as egg salad, turkey panini and soups.
It's a short order rather than fast food
Both the lemon basil & Dixie Chick were very tasty, though we decided the egg salad was the best of the bunch.
Sides wise the mac and cheese was better than average.
Strawberry lemonade was a fabulous touch, and they had a solid beverage selection.
Vegetarians will have a pleasant time and gluten-free folks should be okay if the staff is aware.
Wheelchair folks can easily eat, but might call ahead with their order as the counter is high.
I ordered a #56 on gluten free bread. My husband picked it up for me and brought it home. I took a bite and realized it was not my sandwich. It was the chicken bacon ranch on regular bread. My husband called and he was told “they were out of gluten free bread.” So I just get whatever you have?? I have celiac disease and now I’m suffering. And you NEVER have gluten free bread. I always have to get the salad option but it wasn’t offered this time. I won’t be back. Not to this location.

Visited the location above today 7/23 at 1230 ordered a #26 on gluten free bread. Sandwich was still frozen. I was refused a refund and was told they could not remake it because the bread would still frozen. Staff was rude and said they’ve already sold out of their thawed bread for the day that they only sell a loaf a day and today they’ve already sold 3. Staff did not make up the sandwich or give a refund. I visit lots of jersey mikes locations due to their celiac friendliness but this location was not accommodating.
With a dedicated prep station and knowledgeable staff, this spot offers a confident and enjoyable experience for those seeking a tailored meal.

They were super helpful, I have a gluten allergy and they had a separate station for my sandwich that gave me a lot more confidence than other jersey mikes', the lady who helped me was super knowledgeable and the sandwiches were good, for GF, and she put a lot of extra onions when I asked which was nice
Went to McAlister’s and ordered a choose 2 with salad and a gluten free sandwich and they put croutons on the salad and I asked them to remake it they said they did when I found pieces of crouton on my salad so the lady just picked off the croutons around the corner. Got it remade and the salad looked terrible the lettuce was pink and wilted and mushy. Not a good experience with McAlister’s today.
June 8th, 2024 @1:45- I have a EXTREME gluten allergy and as they tried to make it so I was helped with my allergy, the girl with unicorn hair and headphones got all upset that she had to clean and make my bread separate. It made me feel like I would get sick later on after eating my sandwich. VERY DISAPPOINTED! The girl who was doing the toppings, LOVED HER!
McAlister's never disappoints! So excited they have gluten free bread now! Food is so delicious and fresh! My only complaint is where are the free pickles these days?!
My granddaughters go here all the time. I never tried it because I am gluten free and didn't know if they had anything I could eat. I tried it today and they have several gluten free options. The veggie spud is awesome and huge. A great little eatery with good food at reasonable prices.
The app has a fresh look and runs smoothly, but be sure to check if the tasty special bread is available before ordering.

Their gluten free bread is very good! I wish they offered it more often though. There are times they are out so usually check the app before ordering. Their app seems to have been given a facelift recently, and is more stable now.
Fresh and tasty with a supportive vibe, this spot shines with unique flavors and attentive service that makes every visit enjoyable.

Disclaimer: I am gluten free, but not celiac, and do not have immediate reactions to gluten exposure. I am giving my experience based on taste and service. As always, how "safe" the food is for other gluten free people may vary depending on your sensitivity.
I love eating here. The staff is always so friendly and try to help even if things (like issues with the app) are outside of their control. If anything has ever been amiss, they are always eager to fix the situation. I go here for gluten free pizzas and some of the best gluten free bread buns I've ever had. Always tastes super fresh, and the bread doesn't fall apart immediately like other gf bread buns. They have also been knowledgeable about things when I've asked them about menu items being gluten free. I also like that it's not outrageous to make an item gluten free here, so I'm not feeling bad about having to pay way more.
Environment-wise, I always ordered togo, so I'm not sure how clean or nice the restaurant itself is to eat in, but food-wise my experience has been 10/10.
Pictured: Turkey Bacon Club on gluten free bun. So good!
