Found this gem while traveling from Gatlinburg, TN to Chicago, IL. I LOVE BBQ and I am also gluten intolerant, so this was an oasis in a sea of McD’s and Taco Hell’s 😜 Try the Spicy Sweet BBQ, so good! All sauces and seasonings are made in-house and gluten free 🙌🏻 Gluten free buns weren’t dry like I usually encounter. Tator tots were crispy bites of perfection! I can’t say one bad thing about the place. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive! Offered multiple refills and to-go cups… that’s unheard of in Chicago! Definitely coming back next time we’re in the area! Thanks for a great meal!!
Note: I got the BBQ pulled pork and topped it with coleslaw. My husband got the BBQ ranch burger and he said it was amazing (and he is quite picky). We both cleaned our plates!

It’s so disappointing that a restaurant of this caliber does not have gluten free substitutions. The menu looks great but with minor tweaks like gluten free linguini, gluten free bread or substituting the fried chicken for grilled would suffice. Only things gluten free were shrimp appetizers, salmon and a few sides. If im allergic to seafood then that eliminates all protein. More innovative efforts on the menu to mimic the consideration of similar restaurants around the country would be a great move. I won’t be back until those efforts are made.

Be prepared to spend money, but be prepared to eat in one of the finest restaurants in Louisville. The food is exceptional. Service is impeccable. Our waiter overheard us discussing our future grandchild (due 2023) and presented the expectant parents with a cute onesie and bibs. I have a lot of allergies and am always concerned when I eat out how that is going to go, but the Chart House was incredible and accommodating. Because we told them ahead of time they had a Gluten sensitive menu to work off of at the table waiting and were very quick to figure out what would work. I very rarely have a lot of options when I go out, and here I did! The food and service were incredible, and I highly recommend, especially to others with food allergies. I also recommend for any special occasions, it was our anniversary and they added so many special touches it was wonderful!
