I ordered via uber eats. I saw a few items listed as gluten free on the takeout menu, so I ordered those. I wrote in the notes that I am gluten free. Food arrived with gluten free written on the box and on the soy sauce containers. It was nice that they took the time to assure me they saw my dietary restrictions. The sushi was DELICIOUS! This will be my go to for future take out sushi. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

Best Sushi In Lorne Park! Fresh and good portions. Fish is of fine quality. Whether it’s maki, rolls, or sashimi you will enjoy. No tables to eat at during covid but a must for takeout. Friendly staff. This location has been around for years and consistently amazes. Gluten and allergen aware, just let staff know and they will assist in safe ordering.

Just went here as a newly diagnosed Celiac Disease and wow 11/10 service! The woman helping me was very careful and helped me get a full gluten free meal, she thought of everything and the food was incredible!

Score is 3.5 with hopes it can be a 4 if they follow instructions and improve pick up times. Our first experience was disastrous with waiting over 2.5 hours for our order but it was opening week so we gave them another chance. The second time we ordered the food was ready within 10 minutes of the time we wanted pick up (we ordered online hours earlier so it would be ready). The portions were small but the sushi (avocado, cucumber, chicken teriyaki and veggie deluxe )were all good. They packaged our veg and chicken ones together in the same container which I asked them to separate. It may not be a big deal for many but if you are vegetarian/vegan and you care about this, ensure that you tell them to keep the veg ones separate. The third time we ordered we did so online as well. When we arrived we were told it would be 15 minutes longer as they had several orders. We were a bit upset as we were expecting guests and ordered for a specific pick up time well in advance. This is one area to improve. The veg tempura portion was tiny and we had to order two more on the spot. I made two notes online to ensure that the veg sushi was packaged separately and that they did not have cream cheese or gluten in them. I even called after placing the order to ensure that these instructions were noted. When we brought the sushi home the veggie deluxe had cream cheese in it. We could not go back as our guests had arrived but I called and notified them. They apologized and said I could get another order the next day. We were lucky we had enough food for the night. IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY to dairy be VERY CAREFUL as I don't know what else I could have done to ensure there was no cream cheese in the veg sushi. The food is tasty, it is local and I hope they succeed with some improvements.
