Motel Mezza was a fantastic discovery. Exactly 1/2 way between Sydney and Newcastle, we met with family for a birthday celebration. One of our group is a Coeliac, and so having a restaurant that was serious in ensuring that there was no gluten cross contamination, was such a relief and greatly appreciated.
The staff were friendly and attentive, without being intrusive, and here was a lovely musician/singer adding to the fabulous decor and ambiance.
We will definitely be returning and recommending.
Cozy café with a vibrant vibe offering clearly labeled gluten-free options and fresh, interesting food.

We love this cafe and always stop here on our way through Wyong. The good: they make a great coffee and provide all the alternative milks that you would need. The breakfast options and pastries are always fantastic. Why didn't I give five stars? The gluten-free options are pretty basic. The good news is they have gf options, but with many cafes coming to the party on gluten-free, I find the very best to have a top-notch gluten-free bun and toast available. Maybe there is limited demand in Wyong for GF. But I would encourage the owner to trial some new options for their bread and offer a GF bun for the b&e roll. I also had a disappointing ice latte last time, but the benefit of the doubt. Happy to update the review to 5 star when and if the GF option changes 😁

Woodblock Bar & Grill was absolutely amazing. Starters we great (pork belly bites & fried mac and cheese croquettes were OMG!). For main had some burgers, rump steak and
chicken strips.
Downside -YOU NEED Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan labels on the menu. You are really missing out on customers by not advertising this on your memu. We look at menus prior to booking when it comes to family/friends who have allergies/personal choices. Also, a Kids Menu would be great idea.
Thank you for a great night out.
