I was just diagnosed with Celiac and looking for a place in Toronto that takes celiac seriously and doesn’t cross contaminate. Normally it’s hard to find places that taste good and do this, but I was so happy to find this spot! The food was unreal and Sandra explained the menu and was such a great server. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable pizza with a great vibe, though the manager's attitude may dampen the experience; perfect for pizza lovers with dietary restrictions.

The restaurant offers a gluten-free pizza option, which is great. However, the $7 surcharge for the gluten-free crust feels quite expensive. While I initially liked the dough, it became so hard and chewy as it cooled that it was almost impossible to eat. Unfortunately, the ingredients didn’t seem very flavorful either. We tried two varieties—Pompei and Pesto Chicken—but both lacked taste. Overall, I wouldn’t return.
A hidden gem by the lake, this cozy spot is perfect for flavor lovers with unique options like Pizza Dosa and a welcoming ambiance.

Came here with a couple friends to try out because of their gluten free and vegan options. Prices were extremely fair (you can a full meal for around 10 dollars).
Worth stopping in if you like dosas!
Cozy vibe with a heated patio, perfect for sharing a sampler platter and creative cocktails, plus a commitment to fair wages makes it a must-visit!

Food is delicious, service is amazing and the atmosphere is just right!
Also, very accommodating for anyone that has a gluten allergy. Highly recommend!
I've been to The Ace four times over the past 5 years, initially because they had gluten free options for my sister, and they had a reputation for being strict with their precautions, but i've since returned because the food is very good, they have a good selection of beer and wine, the service is good, and the price is reasonable.
Amazing breakfast!!! Staff very knowledgeable about gluten allergy. Hot tip : you can sub one of the breads out for another egg in the Tibetan breakfast (which is only $8.99 and SO GOOD)
Chill vibes and a cozy atmosphere make it a great spot to relax, with decent prices and tasty huevos ranchos despite minor temperature issues.

My first time here. I think… I used to frequent a Sunrise Grill on Roncy many moons ago but I think this is not it. I needed a place to eat and wait for my cat to be done at the vet clinic on Dundas. It’s very friendly and quiet at 2pm on a Thursday and I enjoyed my Huevos Ranchos, although removed a star because it seemed a bit cold on arrival. Not a deal breaker, it is winter and difficult to keep eggs warm. I will come back, I see they have gluten-free bread options! Yay! Price is right as well.
This vibrant spot near Dundas West Station is a favorite for unique slices and speedy service, perfect for a casual bite.

RESPECT THE PIZZA !
During one of the casual strolls & explorations of this dream town, came across this Pizza joint near the Dundas West Station.
" Respect the Pizza " ~ the tagline is something that caught my eye. They do have a vibrant options of slices. I went with the gourmet slice and 355 ml drink (pop can) combo. They come for $6.49 plus tax to a total of CAD $7.33
There is a wide variety of vegan / vegetarian & gluten free options in addition to tasty non veg options too. For the slice option, I went with the staff pick ' Honey Heat ' pizza slice.
If you have a decent tolerance to spice & if you are a non vegetarian, Honey Heat would be my suggestion. The pop options include Coke, Sprite, Ginger ale, Fanta, Diet Coke, Sparkling and bottled drinks too.
The place is not wheelchair accessible & can get crowded quite fast especially if you are looking for dine in. But they do offer two restrooms for the customers
