We went to Pizzeria Il Melograno and we will definitely be back! The pizza was really good, much better than many “famous” pizzerias in the area. Special mention for the gluten-free pizza: my wife is celiac and found it fantastic, well cooked and tasty (rare!). Welcoming place, well-kept, and the staff was super kind and attentive. Full marks!

Wednesday evening giropizza is inaccessible to: - lactose and gluten intolerant -vegetarians and vegans -Muslims. These limitations are not expressed on the pizzeria's website and they weren't even a problem last year (I'm a vegetarian and last November I ate without problems, on the contrary). The explanation I received was: "Yes, this year we decided to do it this way to make the job easier", highlighting the disregard towards customers.

We went for lunch yesterday, at the suggestion of a friend, and we had a very good time, resulting in very good and fresh food. Usual formula of many restaurants similar to this one but not a complaint on the contrary. Tablet to order from forks (if necessary), water, sauces and more. On the tablet there was an option for allergens and we selected gluten and lactose, after which if you return to the ordering screen the dishes are highlighted in purple (at least to us) to make sure you are careful, but we didn't agree at all about the fried foods!!! Do you fry anything else in oil? Tempura batter definitely contains gluten so why isn't it reported? Honestly, we didn't ask for explanations about it, but it seemed rather strange to us...... Grilled salmon was called "purple" and if you clicked to see specifically what the allergens were, fish and soy were reported, my question is why don't you use gluten-free soy "kikkosan exists", which is the same as the one brought to the table, or don't put soy sauce on it and leave the customer the option of eating the salmon. Apart from this "clarification" I would go back tomorrow because of how good we had it but also how great the food was. Compliments!!!
