Truly awful experience, came away feeling traumatised. I have coeliac and also can't eat dairy, my daughter is the same. I kept asking what would be safe to eat and got conflicting responses from each server. No idea why we had 3 different servers. This lead me to feel very concerned. One server called the manager, who I thought knew what she was doing. She swapped things around and said our meal was now safely vegan and gluten free. When my daughter and I had consumed nearly all the savory pancake, yet a different server came to the table and said we had been eating dairy, as that the feta used was the wrong one and that we should seek medical attention. Thank goodness someone told us, but was an awful experience.

It was our first time as a family for my sons 18th birthday. I was so impressed with the choice and the fact there was a gluten free menu too. The staff were super friendly and answered any questions we had as newbies! They also gave us guidance on what to order according to our tastes - excellent attention to detail regarding service. The food was amazing...I ate the fat on my steak!!! I NEVER eat the fat but somehow every bite was delicious! I'm also happy with the cost. We'd budgetted for an expensive meal, it was a special occasion but this came under budget so I was even happier

Great coffee and paninis. I’ve been here countless times and their consistency has stood the rest of time to becoming a well established and loved cafe in Bedford! I love the cosy interior and look forward to a hot chocolate in the cold winter months ahead. They have gluten free and vegan/plant-based options available.

Came with my (gluten free) wife for their Christmas Menu. Excellent service, attentive and friendly staff and the food was excellent. You will find something to fall in love with Pistachio Café even if you are a vegan or gluten-free customer. I took my colleagues to Pistachio Cafe three times in 10 days and every time it was fantastic!!! The members of the staff were really friendly. We met the owners and they were truly helpful. Huge choice of well-made desserts. Everything came on time and was delicious. I would definitely recommend Pistachio Cafe to everyone.

Went early on a Saturday evening the food was fresh & tasty and a great selection of meats and vegetables. One of the party was celiac and they went through all the available food options with him and prepared his carvey plate fresh in the kitchen to ensure there was no contamination. Great service highly recommend.

Pizza was fantastic, my partner got gluten free and it was by far the best gluten free pizza base she’s ever had, the texture of the base was spot on, it was almost identical to my regular pizza. Will definitely be going back. Really good price, £23 for two pizzas

A small and cosy Thai restaurant in a central location with nearby parking. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The menu caters to all sorts of different tastes with a wide variety of meats, vegetarian and gluten free options. The tamarind duck with coconut rice and pad Thai in particular were excellent 10/10 dishes. This was my first time at this restaurant and I’ll certainly be going back, the food was amazing and everyone in my party agreed! Due to the small size of the restaurant I’d recommend booking in advance, and checking out their menu online.

A must go to. Excellent food - the wings are next level delicious, and their signature fries are mouth wateringly good. Lots of gluten free and vegan options, the restaurant has clearly tried to be thoughtful about people's dietary requirements. The restaurant design is beautiful and a fun atmosphere. The staff are warm and friendly. I strongly recommend!

Italian food at it's best! We ordered the seafood, Salmon Linguini and a very good bottle of house red which was all beautify cooked and presented. Only negative was an unclear description of what pasta meals were dairy and gluten free but a minor point on a great dining experience.

Ate here for lunch for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised. The food was really tasty and priced very reasonably. Friendly, welcoming staff will greet you as you arrive and there’s something on the menu for everyone as they have vegan and gluten options free too. I’d definitely go again!

Excellent menu and brilliant gluten free selection. Ideal for vegetarians too. The food was extremely tasty and when they give it 3 chillis for spice - assume it's going to be very hot. Jasmine tea was an excellent accompaniment and the sticky toffee pudding was lovely and gluten free. Parking across the road in College car park. Free for blue badge holders. Staff helpful and friendly. Toilets clean and modern. If you're in a wheelchair then the toilets would be too narrow to transfer and there are 2 large steps to reach them. Would definitely eat here again.

Oh my God, this pizza is amazing. The boys went out of their way to delivery 5 'mega' tray pizzas and a gluten free version. I have never seen this much pizza disappear so quickly with people coming back for 2nds, 3rds and 4ths. Will definately be back!

Very helpful and friendly staff, food was great. The best carbonara I've had in years, so thank you so much! The number of gluten free options was really helpful for one of our party also. I've included some pictures, but there was more food on both plates. We just got stuck in to the amazing food before thinking "we should take a couple of pictures here" Loved our visit and definitely will be back. Recommended.

I found this little gem a few months ago after it had been revamped by the new owners and cannot recommend highly enough. I have been here on a number of occasions and enjoyed gorgeous homemade gluten free cakes and hot lunches as well as sandwiches, pastries and wonderful coffee treats. The themed evenings are amazing and I’m yet to try afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly, polite and accommodating. Suitable for kids and has a lovely courtyard if you’re a dog owner. Well done 🙂

This place is amazing! The best pizzas in town and the service of exceptional. Gino is such a caring and kind owner. He goes above and beyond for his customers and even popped by to check up on me when I was poorly. This is a true reflection of real community spirit. My favourite pizza is the Roma & I love the miniature Italian pastries for dessert. Food always arrives piping hot when delivered and they even do a gluten free base! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Went for brunch on a Sunday. The food was brilliant. Sharing boards with actually enough food to share. Some gluten free options. Quite a lot of waffle combinations that this celiac had to miss but they looked delicious. I heard raving of the English breakfast from all at our table. I did end up talking with Suzy, the Forrester's wine expert during my visit there. She is wonderful and even hosts wine tasting classes at the Forrester. We are looking forward to those! Her passion and knowledge of wine was second to none in just the short conversation I had with her. Great pub, we are making this our new monthly brunch hang out!

We came here for our daughter’s birthday this afternoon. The service was excellent - even brought our daughter a slice of cake with a never ending candle, which we weren’t expecting! The ice cream is super tasty and the kids enjoyed their waffles and pancakes. We had the cookie dough and whilst it was tasty, way too sickly - will share next time! The restaurant was spacious and clean but very hot when we got here! Great that they had gluten free (on the allergen menu) and non-dairy options, too.

I like the White Horse. The staff are friendly and pleasant; the food is tasty and served quickly. I would advise you to reserve a table, particularly for Sunday lunch. They do Gluten Free and Children's portions. The food is very well presented; the portions are large. There wasn't a vast range of desserts, but when I tentatively asked about a cheese board, which wasn't on the menu, they instantly obliged with a very nice one. Not cheap, but good value.

Really good quality, not heavy, never get that ' too much Chinese food feeling', cater for my gluten intolerance really well, I never feel like I'm being awkward when asking, and they can make most of the dishes gluten free. Friendly too. Glad I found them, been going there several years and no reason to look elsewhere. Update 2023: Still as good as it ever was. So tasty and fresh, never greasy. My favourite takeaway bar none.
