If I could give 10 stars I would! I'm Italian and gluten sensitive, which is a HUGE bummer, as you can imagine lol I'm also new to the area, saw a review on FB about Tucci's and their GF options. Mind blown! Had to try them out!
From walking through the door to leaving, everything was absolutely phenomenal! Very polite staff, great cozy atmosphere, fun drink menu, pipping hot, delicious food with GF options. Couldn't have asked for a better dinner date night! Thank you all for working so hard at what you do! We appreciate businesses and people like you!
My family has been going to Aurelio’s since Joe Aurelio opened his first restaurant on Ridge Rd in Homewood. When I was a kid I remember Joe Aurelio sitting at our table and asking how our meal was. This was when they moved the restaurant to Van Drunen Ford’s body shop. I took my family out tonight to the Bourbonnais store for my mom’s birthday. The restaurant was understaffed we waited over an hour for our pizza’s. We ordered 2 fiesta pizza’s and a gluten free pizza. My wife has a gluten allergy. When the pizza’s came out we received the 2 fiesta’s and no gluten free pizza after about 5 minutes I got up walked back and asked the manager about the gluten free pizza which they looked in the computer at our order and there was no gluten free pizza on the order. Our entire table agreed my wife had put the order in. So my wife sat there and watched us all eat as she waited on her pizza which we were assured was just put in the oven and would be out in about 10 minutes after about 20-25 minutes I went back again and they were “getting ready to take the pizza out” we had been there about an hour and 25 minutes at this point. We told the manger to box the pizza up and we will take it to go at this point. The manager said the gluten free pizza was on them and that it was about a 15 dollar value. I tried to explain to the manager I would have happily paid for the pizza if my wife could have eaten with us. To which she responded again how it was a 15 dollar value. I told her if you are going to stand there and just tell me you are taking 15 dollars off our bill you aren’t understanding my point. When we got home my wife opened up to find the pizza uncut. I hope this isn’t what I should expect as a norm at the Bourbonnais Aurelio’s and if the owners happen across this I’d love to speak with them about our experience tonight.
You stopped carrying gluten free breakfast english muffin...you have lost a customer..sorry for you. I came there for my breakfast for that reason....bye forever
My friend and i went to I Hopp in Bradley Il. (They say Bourbonnais but it's in Bradley) yesterday, Monday Oct.25, 2021 and also the previous Monday. We recieved excellant service and were seated immediately. Our food was extraordinary. The fluffy pancakes were the best ( they also have gluten free) we've ever eaten and the over easy eggs were unbelievable., i have never had PERFECT eggs over easy as these, we were actually kind of astounded. Overall it was a wonderful experience, we will continue to visit this establishment. P.S. it was very clean.
The Noodles & Company in Bourbonnais, Bradley area is amazing! Of course the food is pretty standard everywhere, and I'm so excited that they serve gluten-free, but this particular Noodles & Company, the service is awesome! They almost make you feel like you're at a restaurant. Griffin, the young man that took our order, was super helpful and even came and collected our place, and just wanted to make sure that everything was good. What type of fast food place does that?
What a gem! Found this restaurant on the way to a State Park. Certainly will be back, delicious food even for me gluten free! Chicken Amore is the best chicken dish ever! Good drinks, great service and friendly staff! No gluten free buns yet but I'm sure they'll work on that. 😉
It would be really awesome if they had some type of gluten-free pastry item, even if it was just a rice crispy treat other than that, the food is delicious LOL I absolutely love the squash soup. Idea, Craisins on top of it would be amazing
Ordered the gluten free rotini pasta and ate about half of it before I realized it had regular spaghetti noodles in it. I have celiac disease and the waitress assured me that my pasta was the gluten free kind before I started eating it. Once I found the bad noodles I immediately stopped eating and asked the waitress if they had gluten free spaghetti noodles and maybe one of those got in and she apologized and confirmed that no, if it’s a spaghetti noodle it’s gluten. This was upsetting in itself, but a risk you know you’re taking with celiac disease eating out. The thing that really made this a terrible experience was when the manager came out to speak to us. I told her it wasn’t necessary - I just needed to get home. But she insisted. So we were thinking that at the very least the manager would apologize and comp our meal. Or, you know, care. This lady could not have cared less. She stopped by the table and said “I took it off the bill. You gonna be okay? Okay well sorry about that.” She didn’t wait for an answer. If she had, I would have been honest and told her nope I wasn’t going to be okay. But she didn’t care enough to hear it. She was totally flippant and left the table after less than 10 seconds. Food safety should be number 1. She could not have cared less. I’m appalled that they still charged us for the other meal. Horrible experience with the manager, and horrible experience recovering from the intestinal issues that night.
