Great little spot to enjoy some unique lattes. I recommend the Heath Latte! They carry a variety of gluten free pastries from Holcomb Hollow. Most flavoring is Torani brand, which is also gluten free.
Wish this place was celiac safe. I loved this place as a kid and it has not changed one bit. Very nostalgic! Kids and hubby and friends loved everything!
I used to love this place.
I got in, and everything looked gorgeous! As soon as I got the menu, my hope to eat their delicious food left the table. They turned into a healthy Greek restaurant. I thought, «I should leave and find another place», My next thought was «Don't be so negative, give them a chance».
Against my better judgement I stayed and placed my order...
Big mistake! Huge!
Food was not tasty at all. 😢 It felt like I was chewing cardboard!
I ordered an orange juice, and I thought, this is my reward for eating gluten free healthy food... And it had NO PULP! What's the point of spending 5 dollars in a freshly squeezed orange juice if it doesn't have the one thing that gives you fiber and helps your digestion?
I'm very disappointed!
I'm sure everybody is really happy and grateful with changes in this restaurant. I'm not part of that everybody.
I'll miss you!

EXCELLENT restaurant! Every item on the menu is outstanding. The gluten free options are delicious. The ribs fall off the bone - so good that you want to order the full slab. The prices are very reasonable. The owner, Bill, and his team are warm and welcoming and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is very nice, updated, and spacious. Go for lunch or dinner. We love it here. Also, Gale Street Inn supports local charities, very generous people. This restaurant is excellent in every way!

Quick service Mediterranean place with most of the menu gluten free. I love to get the platters as they come with meats, rice, and salad. Appetizers are gluten free except the kibbeh and pita bread. Multiple locations across the Chicago suburbs.

Excellent food and service. Lots of gluten free options - never a problem to accommodate with gluten free dishes and never a reaction. We go for lunch or dinner. Hosted a family event for a large group of elderly people and the wait staff was terrific! Atmosphere is great! Parking is ample. Easy to get to. Sal is also very generous with supporting local charities. Keep up the good work!
I brought my grandsons and we ate inside - the only patrons to do so. Our server was super friendly and helpful, but I was disappointed that she wasn't wearing her mask over her nose. The boys each had their own small pizzas, making them very happy. The prices made me happy. A very pleasant surprise was the availability of gluten free options. All-in-all a successful lunch outing.
Fresh pies and great quality make this spot a must-visit for anyone passing through, plus it's perfect for groups and outdoor lovers.

Our group of 8 hungry bikers riding across the USA found Jimano's and enjoyed a delicious, fresh set of pies and salad right out of the oven. The quality and service were top notch, and they easily accommodated our gluten free rider with his own pizza. We'll be back next time we roll through, and encourage anyone in the area to check it out. Couldn't get enough of the Buffalo pizza and the delicious cheese and crust! 5 stars. Thank you Jimano's!
Bakery items that are gluten free by original recipe! I didn't know what a macaroon really was until now! The chef/owner Claude, is the real deal! Can not wait to come back! I would have taken a picture but I ate everything!

It's been a while since I visited the inside of a McDonald's. My wife and daughter were with me. We were very impressed with the new touch screens self ordering stations. We Use one of the 6 stations to place our order. I found the ordering process easy to navigate and easy to place our order. We did not have to wait for someone to take our order. The employees were quick to respond to our order after it was submitted. Our order was correct. My wife has Celiac and can not eat any food that contains gluten. She placed her order and was able to customize her meal to her liking and needs. My daughter is a picky eater and was also able to customize her order to her liking. We all liked this system very much. I am not sure how long this system has been in place, but I hope more places incorporate this system.
