I have celiac disease. Trying to find a good place to eat is Very Hard. Joes is perfect VERY CLEAN, VERY NICE PEOPLE, EXCELLENT GLUTEN FREE PIZZA. I LOVE IT. THANK YOU
I was at this location on March 30, 2025 at 11:17am.
I paid for the buffet, but then realized the gluten free items were not on the buffet and needed to be ordered separately. I paid for the gluten free pizza and was told I would get a refund on my card for the buffet. I did not see the credit applied so I called on 4/5/2025. I was given a couple options and asked for my card to be credited as I am not local so a restaurant credit was not an option. I was advised that since it had been several days since my visit that the credit needed to be handled by computer programmers. I called again on 4/9 to inquire and was told it would take one to 1.5 weeks to process. I called again on 4/18 - and there was no answer. Not confident I will get my refund at this point…

Back in my hometown over the 4th, and found some amazing changes to the downtown! The Gedney is a wonderful addition! Spent a couple of hours chatting with my friend and enjoyed a great Americano. I'm so impressed with the renovation to this building, the atmosphere, coffee, and the staff! I have to eat gluten-free so I didn't try any of their bakery items, but they looked delicious! Please take time to stop into this cute coffee shop!
We were in Independence for an all-day school event and happened upon Arianna's Kitchen.
I have celiac disease and have to be very careful about gluten and they were fantastic! They knew exactly what to do and we had a GREAT meal. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns and my spouse had the Monte Cristo sandwich.
Our server was very friendly and the food came super fast.
We would definitely go back.

Friendly employees and quick service. Love the decorations. Their bars on the counter and some of their ice cream flavors are gluten free. They also have organic tea. I had the hot apple cider. It has a "news room" with a large table and their many awards and news clippings are displayed. I wish I got to see Em! If you would like to support employees with disabilities stop into Em's!
