My two picky kids absolutely loved the pizza. They’re like pizza snobs, and made me write this review before we even left the parking lot. The server was so amazing. Making sure to mention they are super accommodating to food allergies when I ordered a gluten free pizza. My son also wanted me to mention how clean the bathroom was.

This was my first time going to Insomnia and I LOVED it. Friendly staff, delicious, warm and fresh cookies. The gluten free chocolate chip was awesome, as was the vegan chocolate chunk. I will definitely be patronizing them again!

Easiest 5-star rating I’ve given. What a hidden gem. Intimate for sure. Great date spot. Make a reservation with a large party. All of the above was going on when I stopped by. The owner, Moncef, knows several different languages, wonderful charm to the guy! And now the food… Chicken was organic and tasted fantastic. The dish I got was supposed to come with couscous but I told him I was gluten free and he replaced it with a great-tasting yellow basmati rice. Ate till my stomach hurt. The meal actually “felt” homecooked. The atmosphere is also really great. Never once felt rushed and the waitress is super-polite. It exhumes a feeling of luxury service, home love, and culture yet it comes in this small restaurant room. Gold!! (The *only* thing I’d improve on is adding a sign on the interior door that says “entrance to Jamila’s Cafe” and a “please wait to be seated sign”. Everyone I’ve seen enter, including me, gets confused by where to enter. Also, adding a “restrooms down the hall second door to the right” sign would be helpful on the other side above the door so people eating know where to go.)

My buddy and I are in town for jazzfest. We couldn’t find a reservation on a Saturday night for any of the downtown hot spots, so we took a flyer on Vincent’s ( which is located about 15 minutes out of center city in a lovely residential area). We are so glad we did. It’s amazing. The place was busy, but extremely accommodating. My kind of place. Very homey and completely non pretentious, and totally authentic. It didn’t seem like it was frequented by many tourists ( other than us- lol). The patrons all seemed like regulars. Our server was great. Both my buddy and myself had a tough time selecting from the most appealing selection of apps and main courses I have ever read. I could have ordered the entire menu. Nothing sounded like regular fare. Finally we chose an eggplant app which was splendid and an equally delectable order of escargot. For main courses we ordered the house specialty of stuffed canaloni and a colossal stuffed pork chop. But were as good as it gets. There was nothing left in either of our tanks for dessert. For a moment both of us had tinkered with the thought of ordering a multi course Italian feast for $65 per person, but neither of us wanted to be glutens, so we passed on it for now. This might be amongst the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to in my life ( and I’m sort of a pretty old guy who’s dined in about a bazillion places in my day- lol). Can’t recommend Vincent’s enough. As Tony the Tiger stated 30 years ago- “ it’s great”
