Stopped in here a few times while staying in union pier for the week. Prepare for it to be busy in the mornings; usually a line of 4-5 and then a 5-10 minute wait for your coffee. Worth it for the quality in my opinion and they are well organized. Pastries are just okay. Prices are a bit high for the grocery items. We watched a guy in front of us spend $60+ on a couple of prepackaged salads, chips, and drinks. Good options for dairy free or gluten free folks. We ordered sandwiches on their website (which is required for sandwich orders) they were fresh and tasty, ready within ~25 mins.
This place is great and easy to reach from the Harbor Country towns. Great pizza. Great prices and quick service for carry out. Even had gluten free crusts. If you are looking for great pizza at great price Mario’s is your place.

Tapa Taco is a great new restaurant with outstanding food. The menu has a nice variety of dishes that were fun to try. There are many gluten free options in the menu. Really fun atmosphere. The restaurant just opened last week and the staff was still working to iron out "the kinks", but it was an overall wonderful time. We can't wait to go back! There's a great screened -in porch outdoor seating area that looked like a nice area to dine in. Go and try the paella... it's delicious!

Union Pier Social was a true treasure of an experience! My bf and I went on a Friday night and they had great live music. Trisha was our server, and she was fantastic!! Excellent beer list full of Michigan beers. We got Cheese Curds (awesome), the Baja Burger with truffle fries and the Veggie pizza + pepperoni. Plus the gluten free chocolate "cake" which is much more like fudge. This place is a must visit for anyone in the area!
