Omg this place was so
Good! I love the food especially the chicken sandwich. I came from Maryland with my mom and I really enjoyed it. I am gluten free sensitive and the fries were fresh too with my sandwich. Very good service by my server! And Bree came and was very friendly as well with good conversation and recommendations about other things to try on the menu. I will be back! If you are in NJ come check it out you won’t regret! Fresh food and you can come late at night too :) Thank you!
Late-night vibes and generous portions make this classic diner a must-visit for a diverse menu and tasty treats on the go.

Not many 24hr diners left. This is a great place for those late night diners or snacks. They have one of the best gluten free options for Jersey diners that I’ve come across. Portions are always generous. Late night early morning visits over the years have always been good here. Burgers are the go to. Breakfast omelets and/or a Taylor Ham are highly recommended.
Known for fantastic pizza, this spot offers spicy flavors and unique options that cater to diverse tastes.

Fantastic pizzas, Try the spicy pie and their gluten-free options. Their slices don't hit my gluten-sensitivities as much as normal pizza. No soy, it seems, too!
Charming coffee shop featuring unique and tasty seasonal drinks, with quality ingredients and a few standout bakery items.

It's really cute coffee shop you can get some nice bakery items. The muffins though are dry as hell and they don't make great sandwiches but sometimes you can find a good bakery item. Like they're gluten free banana nut bread is really delicious. I really do like their drinks especially the featured drink there's always something really cute and tasty for the future drinks. The regular drinks are great too they seem to use pretty good quality stuff. It's not like a normal mom and pop that is using cheap ingredients for their food. They use good quality stuff. The prices are okay they are reasonable the prices, the sandwiches are a bit high I spent $11 on a bacon egg and cheese. Probably wouldn't order their sandwiches but everything else is okay.
Since the reopening the food has been much better. The chicken Ceasar salad has the best dressing and it’s topped with shaved Parmesan Reggiano. The grain salad with quinoa chick peas and goat cheese is gluten free and delicious! Everything on the menu looks great and I can’t wait to go back to try something else!
Great family run spot with great assortment of Italian food - order at the counter or sit down and dine in. Great pies, pasta, wings and gluten free options.
I've been coming here for years for Italian dining in the area and I continue to be impressed with the value and options. For me specifically, the fact that they are willing to do gluten free options for many of their pasta dishes is a huge benefit. Finding an Italian restaurant that accommodate a gluten free menu can be a challenge, but Roxanne's has been great in this regard.
Beyond the menu diversity the food itself is actually quite good. The salads always come out quickly and are wonderful sizes with great execution. The pasta is usually cooked correctly and everything is fresh and hot.
I recently visited and was pleased to see they have developed a nice outdoor area with heat lamps for safe dining in the Covid era we're in now.
The only downside to Roxanne's is the waitstaff isn't so great and are frequently assigned too many tables. You may go a half hour between table visits and and find yourself running out of water or drinks quickly. They can also occasionally forget requests so that offsets some of the good food and prices. I've been about thirty times or so and overall it's a very good experience, but it could use a little polish.
My family and I love the food and the atmosphere of this great Spanish restaurant in Mahwah. The prices are reasonable and the menu has both tapas and full sized dinner choices. Lots of options for vegetarians, and gluten-free folks as well. It does tend to get a little loud during busy hours, so if that is an issue for you, go early. Great cocktails and delicious sangria - don't know about the desserts because everyone in my group is always too full to eat another bite!
gluten free conscious and delicious amazing food. I am not a fan of daal always and i finished the whole thing and many other dishes! we ordered seconds!!’
This is now my favorite Japanese restaurant. Absolutely delightful taste and they have gluten free soy sauce! Be sure to ask for anything you need. They have you covered!
Ernies ice cream spot hits the spot when we have a ice cream craving, we just have to make sure we have time to wait on line a long time, at no fault to the employees who work there, it just gets that packed . Would really love some additional gluten free /vegan items .
