I come to NYC once a month for work and love trying out various vegan/gluten free spots for lunch and LOVED my experience at Pure Grit BBQ. Such a great find with so many exciting vegan/gluten free options, outdoor seating, and super welcoming and friendly staff. I even had a chance to meet the owner who gave me some great recommendations! Definitely a must try if you’re looking for a fun take on Vegan BBQ!
The gluten free bagel is essentially gluten free bread in the shape of a bagel. The amount of addons they put (cucumbers, etc) is literally the minimal amount. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with tasty burgers and a lovely setting near Madison Square Park, perfect for a casual hangout.

Our family of four came here for an early lunch during our recent visit to NYC. We were served immediately and the girl on the checkout was super-friendly, letting us have a taster of their new soft drinks before deciding what to order. The burgers were great quality and the fries were cooked to perfection as well. Everything cost more than I expected it to ($70 for the four of us) but that isn’t any fault of the restaurant, as the prices were clearly advertised. Yes, McDonalds is much cheaper, but the food at Shake Shack is far better quality and it was good too that they offer gluten-free buns as well. It was nice to be able to eat in such a peaceful location too, surrounded by the small birds who call Madison Square Park home.
Disappointed by your lack of tamari. Some people are celiac and gluten free, therefore can’t have soy sauce. It’s 2024 and a great time to start being inclusive.
Experience a unique twist on veggies that even meat lovers rave about, with standout dishes like a heavenly lemongrass and radish soup.

I am not sure how anyone could give less than 5 stars. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left everything was perfect. From the attention to detail from the servers, the friendly nature of everyone we encountered and the food itself, it was just phenomenal! I have a gluten allergy and they took every precaution to make sure I was able to enjoy a stunning culinary experience. We celebrated our anniversary here and I just cannot say enough about how great our time was. Ps. We were able to meet Daniel Humm and he was extremely nice.
Get ready for a tasty party experience with delicious offerings and a team that makes sure everything goes off without a hitch!

Andiamo has really great meatballs!! Im gluten free (kind of, I know there’s probably breadcrumbs in the meatballs) so when my husband gets pizza I get meatballs and put them on my GF pasta at home. There’s something about that sauce!! So good!!
Enjoy a relaxed vibe with minimalist decor and a freshly loaded avocado toast, perfect for a chill Sunday morning.

Had a lovely and generously loaded avocado toast on gluten free bread on a quiet Sunday morning. Simple counter service establishment with uncluttered modernist decor. The oat milk matcha latte was good, too, although I always order it unsweetened so can’t speak to another reviewers comment on it being overly sweet.
Healthy, fresh, delicious, overpriced juice/smoothie bar! They also offer healthy meal options for breakfast/lunch/dinner :) (Great place for vegans and vegetarians, in addition to, gluten-free options.)
A rare gem for those craving a healthy twist on fast casual dining with a lively Chinese flair, perfect for a quick and refreshing meal.

Really good spot if you want to have a healthy fast casual meal with a Chinese food vibe which is hard to find. Would definitely come back again. Decent amount of gluten free and dairy free options.
*im not celiac, just gluten free.
