We grabbed lunch here while in town to celebrate our daughter's graduation. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, which isn't always easy with our bunch.
The young man taking orders was informative and helpful.
The greens were just the right amount of spice.
Crabcakes were crab and not filler.
Hushpuppies with honey - yum!
Added bonus - use of cornmeal allowed our gluten free eater to enjoy!
We will definitely eat here again when in Durham.
These folks are awesome. Great food & they are willing to speak with you and walk you through options is you have food allergies. I have to be gluten free and I still have tons of options here! The BBQ as well as the sides are delicious. Personally, I go with the sliced brisket plate with potato salad and greens as the side. That combination is awesome.
If eating gluten free, you need to know to avoid the BBQ sauces. They will remind you if you tell them you need to eat this way. Just go for Tabasco or Texas Pete if you need to kick it up, but the regular brisket rub they use is gluten free and excellent. Of course you need to also avoid the texas toast and hush puppies... but that's a small price to pay.

Stopped in for dinner after a recommendation from friends. Amazing service and delicious food. The staff made us feel like family. Green curry was so yummy. Gluten free Coconut cake was amazing!! Hard to find gluten free restaurants with as many options available as here. And the cake topped it off. Tried fried tofu for the first time and that was also delicious. Highly recommend for a delicious, casual meal.

Delicious food in a laid back atmosphere with fun decorations. The gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu, with plenty of options. Ordering can be done via phone, with a server, or oh a tablet for to-go. We ordered the tacos, C.B.D. burrito, and NuvoBowl salad. All good choices.
