HIDDEN GEM!! I love this place so much! It was our first time here ever. How did I not know about this place?!
It is so sweet and charming with great locally roasted coffee (they get from an actively serving military member from Chattanooga - currently deployed). Yummy cookie dough by the slice with keto, vegan, and gluten free options. They also have ice cream and bottled drinks.
We got almond milk lattes and macchiatos, with sugar free syrup. They were very good.
The business is woman owned and everyone we met that works here is super nice.
They are all about community. I love the trinket treasure chest and community bookshelf. There are also local artist stickers and crochet animals for sale. We hung out on a comfy couch and enjoyed books from their shelf while munching our keto cookie dough.
Right across the street from the aquarium, it is conveniently located.
I look forward to my next visit!
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with unique menu options that push culinary boundaries, plus cool decor and a hint of eco-friendliness.

Great food options from gluten free, vegan, and one more I forgot 😅. The food is amazing no matter what you get. They push the limits of what makes a taco a "taco". The atmosphere is great with background music, murals, and sculptures. Also very eco-friendly. I got the Becky, and despite the odd look, it was amazing.
We were spending a few days in Chattanooga and found some good gluten free recommendations for Thai Smile. One evening we went there for a dinner and couldn't have been more satisfied! My wife and I were very pleased with the quality of our mears. And, we enjoyed a wonderful conversation with waitress, making us feel like family.
Enjoy a magical dining experience with see-through igloos, stunning ambiance, and a cozy atmosphere perfect for a romantic night out.

First of all, I would like to thank all the staff of Whitebird for the magical night for dinner.
This restaurant is on the first floor of the Edwin Hotel right next to the Walnut Street bridge, Hunter Museum, and all the romantic spots in the art district.
With this type of setting, you know the night will be magical. Extra points for whoever came up with the idea to out see through igloo"s just outside the restaurant patio next to the bridges. Yes, you are reading that correctly. You can spend a romantic dinner in a see-through igloo with white lights and all the night sky in an intimate, darker setting. You only find two of these, so i would book in advance for this special venue.
My date and I absolutely loved the decor, atmosphere, staff, and the food.
I have a gluten allergy to Wheat, and all the staff went out of their way to make sure my night was perfect with no cross-contamination.
The owner, manager, and all the staff were top-notch for a true white glove fine dining should be.
Now to the food. I ordered the salad, thinking it would be on the smaller side. Nope, it was a large portion and amazing flavor with ingredients not used much in salads you would find at a restaurant. This was a real chef cooked/ prepared to order.
Next, we had the grilled chicken mini sliders with a sauce that was delicious to dip into. I'm not sure what it was, but wow, it made the flavors come out more.
I also got the garlic mashed potatoes. This was definitely my favorite with just the right amount of ingredients and fresh potatoes, not instant garage, like some restaurants try to pass as mashed potatoes. Nope, nothing but the best and finest quality of food, cooked to order Cordon Bleu chef.
They had a gluten free buns, so I got a grilled chicken sandwich that was delicious.
The evening was nothing less but magical with the sunset going down the stung lights in the igloo. Dinner was just perfect and a nice walk on the bridges to in the evening.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and experience for your next romantic dinner date.
Don't take my word for it make. Go see for yourself the magic that awaits.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely
