We love Dice and slice and it's probably the only reason we haven't moved out of town. We come often to try new games all the time, never have to play the same game twice if you don't want too. The staff are always very lovely, some are really friendly and great to chat with. Food and Drinks you have a lot of options. Sometimes feel like the gluten food is sometimes a little smaller but just glad to have the option! I bring everyone I can here and you should too! They also hold events, including a monthly LGBT night with the local group!

I was so impressed with the gluten free menu they have! And it tasted amazing. We came on Friday and the staff were very friendly and the service was great. It can get busy outside for parking so we had to park in St Mary’s in the end but that isn’t the restaurants fault.

Absolutely disgusted by the treatment I faced today in @ASKItalian Colchester by I believe was the chef who refused to give me his name but he was large and had no hair! He didn’t want to serve me a gluten free pizza without a sausage! He was extremely rude it was embarrassing.

The atmosphere and smell in the place is fantastic, warm and welcoming. We visited for pudding but me and my friend have different allergies/intolerances. The menu for gluten is confusing, with "gluten sensitive" being labelled rather than "gluten free" and turns out those items had gluten in which is dangerously misleading. The Vegan menu is at the back of the menu, and has a LOT of choice which is amazing. What me and my friend could eat was exceptional. High standards and delicious. The mocktails are amazing! Will definitely be back.

We popped in here on Fathers Day never heard if this pub before we highly recommend it ! DOG FRIENDLY ! children friendly too Just overall friendly great polite service with a smile nothing too much trouble gluten free Fish & Chips were lovely as was the roasts ! The chef found us a table at short notice, which was brilliant. The garden was lovely, with a great view. The fish starters were delicious. I had swordfish, for my main and my friend had, Cromer dressed crab. Also catered for gluten free. Both meals were superb. The staff were friendly and professional.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from the butchery. I needed some gluten free cocktail sausages for a party and rang to enquire. They kindly advised that they had frozen GF large sausages (I could make that work, so I dropped in to buy some). I didn't leave a name or any contact details but, when I arrived, not only did the gentleman remember our phone conversation but he had bothered to make GF cocktail sausages even though he had not planned to do them that day. It will make the dish I am planning so much easier to cook. I was really quite stunned by that level of customer service and just had to leave a review to say thank you so much. We had bought things from you before but, after today we shall be back much more regularly!

Due to its location this is not a place you find by chance, but on this visit it was very busy so people obviously think its worthwhile making the effort to get there. The coffee is extremely good as is the seating arrangements. On a summer day you can sit outside and admire the view and various animals. The food while OK is perhaps not up to the same standard as the coffee and if you are a Coeliac you are pretty much out of luck with finding anything gluten free to eat. On the plus side you can bring your dog znd even buy them a meal such as a cooked sausage.

Great sushi, very fresh and nicely decorated restaurant. I have coeliac disease (gluten allergy) and I was able to have most of the sushi. They were knowledgeable about my allergy and even had gluten free soy sauce. Our waiter Omer was great, very attentive and friendly. We would definitely recommend coming here

Fantastic experience. Incredibly accommodating with us where we had a member of our party in a wheelchair. Service was fantastic. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Staff let us know when they had food at the buffet redone. Rui and William were wonderful, Rui brought our meat around and helped one of our party with getting the meat cooked at the right level for them. The food was brilliantly cooked and so tasteful and a lot of variety for our gluten free child. William made sure that we were well attended and that everything was OK for us and made sure that we had enough drinks. We've been before and will definitely come back again. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

I can not thank the staff at Level Best Enterprises enough for the wonderful homemade lemon drizzle cake that we had with our coffees today. It was gluten-free and dairyfree and was such a treat. Hardly anywhere in Colchester does gluten free and dairy free, and it was an absolute joy! Thank you so much. Your homemade offering is exceptional and I loved all the Christmas goodies!

Rewards scheme. I qualified for a free dessert on my app & the waitress said yes, claim it at the end. I did not really want anything but thought I would as it was offered. However when I claimed it off the bill I was told that as I had only had soup. I did not qualify so ended up having to pay £6.75 for a dessert I did not even want. Also as two of us were gluten free we did not get any bread with our soup. Surely in this day and age it is not expecting too much for a restaurant to have a gluten free loaf in stock

What a lovely place with such excellent service and really yummy Sunday roast. There is never enough gravy in most subday roasts but not at Mersea Barns! A whole gravy boat for the table! My kids have allergies and so many places we go to eat it's complicated and we are made to feel like an inconvenience but the staff at Mersea Barns went out of their way to be kind and accomidate our dietary needs. Good to see a couple of dairy free/ gluten free things at the counter too makes a world of difference to feel included when you have allergies.

Fantastic seafood and service! The staff were knowledgeable and caring about dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free was no problem at all) and they were able to easily adapt most items on the menu, even going out of their way to make sure that a dessert option was available (we had pre warned of our dietary needs when booking). Dogs were welcome outside (although not in the restaurant itself) and, although facing the road, it was a pleasant and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sunshine. We will definitely be back!.

Naka Thai recently moved out of the city to the outskirts of a commercial area. 15 minutes from the center. Now it has a free parking lot. Everything is new inside. The service is very friendly and the menu offers a large selection. spiciness, calories, vegetarian or vegan; Gluten: everything can be put together optionally. We would dine there again at any time.

Genuinely the best cake I have ever eaten. I was really sad when they left London and moved to Colchester but I have even driven to Colchester to have my fix! The new shop is so beautifully decorated, perfect atmosphere and location. The cakes are amazing there are also choices of vegan, gluten free etc. Staff lovely, nice packaging. Would highly recommend. I really want to try the afternoon tea!

We ordered food from here for our Christmas Dance Party buffet. A selection of sandwiches with Christmas flavours, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, dips and veggie sticks and quiche. We have a few people in the group with food allergies as well as sensitive to gluten, vegetarian and vegan . Brunch offered options for everyone! Not just “something to eat” but rather a good selection for everyone to have a nice meal. All the trays and packs were perfectly labelled and the food was delivered on time as agreed. The attendees of the party came out of their way to let me know that they enjoyed the food. I will happily recommend for your event. Making an order is pretty straightforward and you can get good advice and help from the team about what to orded. They also let me know if I was ordering too much for the amount of people. We had a wonderful lunch. The 3 of us shared a seafood appetiser platter and my son and I each had pho and my husband some beef dish. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. The waitress wasn't extremely knowledgeable but tried to be helpful. There's a lot of gluten free and vegan options available as well, even for dessert. My son was asking to go back again before we'd even finished! I only wish we lived closer!
