Utterly delicious 😋. I'm coeliac & everyone couldn't have been more helpful. Myself & my friend had just popped out for a walk around Iron Bridge & this was a spontaneous drop in for a coffee & possibly lunch.
TBF, they offered me various GF options, but on a chill winter's walk I decided to have a jacket spud. Simple, but done so well it was just perfect.
My friend had a bap/salad (can't remember what was in it), but all they kept saying was how delicious it was.
Lovely coffee too.

I needed a place to stay near Telford, and this came up as available on booking.com. The price was very reasonable, which included a good breakfast that was gluten-free. A very warm, friendly welcome. There were no issues with the stay. If you are looking for corporate (soulless) perfection, it's not your place. It's a nice pub and has got loads of character, and I plan on returning because I'm a happy customer! If I were to offer a suggestion for improvement, it would be to offer filter coffee for breakfast. The stay was such good value that I'll just bring my own next time, no problem. Thanks for a great stay.
Absolutely delicious! We went for a family meal and everyone enjoyed themselves. There are also lots of gluten free options, we also mentioned it when booking. I would definitely recommend!
Brilliant lunch here. Nice cocktails, couple of ok beers and excellent food. Caters for vegan and gluten free as well, really impressive. Will be back.

We held a 30th birthday party at The Tontine with a group of 16 people and had an amazing time. The staff were so accommodating, even letting me decorate the room beforehand. The food was Michelin star worthy, every meal was suberb, absolutely delicious, the best we've had in a long time! They were able to make nearly every meal on the menu gluten free, and it was excellent. Thank you for a really memorable celebration!
