Went here for the first time, the service was shockingly bad, we could hear the chefs talking about us because we had an allergy and they weren't concentrating about wether the bread was intact gluten free. Just overall felt like we were a nuisance. Which is a shame because the pub itself was beautiful

Chose Cote as it was convenient for my day, had never been before, or seen it (as new to Horsham), so no real expectation but was surprised and pleased with the experience - excellent food and service, good value, will definitely visit again and recommend it. Was particularly impressed with the separate, nicely presented gluten free menu, and that it was brought as soon as I sat down - they obviously read my booking note and acted on it - the first time it has happened anywhere!

Haven't eaten here for a few years, but the food was delicious and the staff excellent.
Being celiac, it's always a worry how restaurants cater for (or don't) gluten-free, but these guys were brilliant! All my food came out with gluten-free stickers attached to plates. The team was very knowledgeable about gluten and cc, etc. Made me feel very relaxed.
Thry also have an online allergen menu where you select which intolerances you have and it tells you what dishes you can eat.
Big thanks to Luvi, who looked after our table, who was all round fantastic with nothing too much trouble.

Lovely place- great view, brilliant and attentive staff, fantastic food! One of those places that give you cozy and warm vibes. My son, who is fussy with food and is celiac, loved the gluten free burger and the gluten free brownies. We had burgers, very big I must say and super delicious. But the my absolute favourite was the blueberry cheesecake!! I had it as a take away as I was full but omg definitely one of the best I’ve ever tasted 🫣😄

Separate gluten free menu. Staff are great. I went with a big group and each time the waitress reread the order through, she always said ‘gluten free seabass’. It was reassuring. When the food came another waitress delivered my meal separately. I also had a huge banoffee pie for dessert. Annoyingly I didnt take any pictures as was too in the moment.

Great hospitality, food was delicious and good value for money, impressed with the gluten free options as can struggle with that in a lot of places. Matt was very kind to nervous first time pub dog too with treats and fusses. Also great parking availability.

I have visited this establishment twice now. One lunchtime without a booking and one Sunday lunchtime with a reservation which I highly recommend you do to avoid disappointment. Staff are friendly and fun, going out of their way to accommodate any request. Food is fantastic and if you’re not a die hard carnivore like myself they also cater for vegetarian/vegan/gluten free peeps too. I recommend everything and prices are very reasonable. I really cannot explain how great this place is. Ye, the owner is an amazing guy. The food is fantastic and it feels like you are personally looked after.
I have been here 10+ times and every meal is perfect.
To make matters worse I am Ceoliac....very sensitive to gluten in my food.
You cannot feel safer when at the china brassiere, Ye makes sure that all of your food is safe.
