I was working in the area today and did a Google search for places that do gluten free food. This place came up and I’m so glad I came here. My partner also enjoyed it too. The staff were friendly and the gluten free curry sauce tasted lovely ( definitely order it if you can). Would definitely come back if ever visiting. Thank you so much for being so welcoming.

They have an amazing extensive gluten free menu, it would have been five stars, but I could not get under the table in my wheelchair to eat my food. It is fully wheelchair accessible apart from this feature. The bar guys and the waitresses were very friendly, providing a great atmosphere. The chocolate milkshake was well made.

Great food, gluten-free options, and the staff are very nice. Never get an order wrong. Never a long wait despite the fact they are always really busy. Bit more expensive than some fish and chip shops, but I've tried a few others locally, and they don't compare. Best curry sauce!

As someone who is Gluten Free, I was so impressed with Alfie’s Fish & chips! they had a great selection of gluten free options, and even the sauces were clearly labelled and safe for me to eat. it’s rare to find a place that’s this thoughtful and accommodating. Highly recommended! will be back!

A lovely little cafe in Leigh on sea. I am gluten free (gluten allergy - staff were knowledgeable and knew about shared fryers etc) and had lots of options without missing out on much (only change to English breakfast was to swap sausage out). A lovely atmosphere and if you have a dog it is a perfect spot! Look forward to returning in summer

Excellent steak meal with friends. And very good to be able to choose from a gluten- free menu. If one thing could have been better, it would have been the king prawn cocktail - the prawns were good, but the marie rose sauce was poor, and it was served on plain iceberg only, in a 'bowl' plate thing with a stupidly wide rim, that tips over all the time.

A good option for healthy food. A few options to choose but not lots of variety. Try the hot beverages, they're good. Most of the food is gluten free and the juices are really good! Highly recommend

I had the most amazing gluten-free crepes. Filling portion and very reasonably priced for the good quality of the food served. There were so many tasty gluten-free options that it took a while to pick what to order. Staff were very polite and friendly. Well worth a visit or two!!

Fabulous restaurant always made to feel welcome, the menu is Fabulous if you are gluten free there is so much to choose from. Always freshly prepared and cooked. Highly recommend the sardines.

We had a lovely meal after a long walk at the Peterboat. At first we were dubious, there were a lot of kids and this can be a red flag when it comes to quality experiences. But we were wrong, our waitress was excellent - really engaging and helpful, recommended some great dishes. And the food was pretty faultless for pub grub, everything we ate was lovely. The gluten free jam roly poly was especially good, achieved a great texture. Recommended pub for the food alone! (If you can withstand the kids!)

We hired these amazing guys for our evening food at our festival style wedding 2 years before our big days and communication was quick and super helpful. When the big day came, they arrived on time, set up seamlessly in the background and served so many of our guests who came back for seconds, thirds and fourths! I'm absolutely gutted I didn't get round to eating one but my husband and guests all said how incredible the crepes and waffles tasted. My gluten free and vegan guests were particularly happy as they were able to eat everything like everyone else! I'll be hunting them down in the future to get my hands on one of the crepes but genuinely couldn't recommend them more. Thank you so much for being part of our special day, we couldn't fault you at all! 💜🍋💜

We went here to celebrate my partners birthday and had an amazing time. Food was an 8/10 but the service is what made the experience so memorable! We were served by a lovely Portuguese waitress in the red shirt all night (unfortunately we did not catch her name). One guest has a gluten allergy and was wonderfully catered for, with the waitress and chef checking all of the ingredients and even serving a dish with the sauce on the side so this guest could still enjoy the food. Would definitely come back here again and will recommend it to others!

This place is amazing, seriously. The people are great. Such a relaxed lovely atmosphere. Food is incredible. I’m gluten-free and never have a problem. Hot drinks, milkshakes, smoothies are to die for. I’ve never been climbing, looking forward to trying that too. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Had a fab lunch here today. Food is delicious and staff so friendly and helpful. I have coeliac disease and a garlic intolerance, they understood my needs and checked everything with the chef. So lovely not being made to feel 'a nuisance' for once. Highly recommend 👌

I loved this little place by the sea where we had a generous colourful breakfast! We had the alternative breakfast (2 poached eggs, toast, grilled portobello mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, asparagus tips, spinach, arugula salad and feta cheese) and Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast (with cherry tomatoes, arugula salad and extra baked beans and portobello mushrooms). Gluten free options apply for dishes with toast. The service was impeccable and the place offered a cosy atmosphere with fantastic sea view.

Delicious gluten free battered cod, so light and crispy! Took my mum here who had the same as the recommendation of the waitress, even though my mum is not gluten free, I am. Large portion too! Would definitely return! Staff super friendly too! The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was a nice treat to end with!

We have a 3 year old who is Gluten Free, some of the biggest restaurants seem to forget that children are celiac too and can only provide meals no three year old would want to eat. However, she was able to have a Pepperoni Pizza and chips, garlic bread, sausages… the list goes on. She actually finished a meal, smiled, felt included. The serious attitude towards GF guests was noted, even showing us the ingredients in the pepperoni so we knew it was safe. I cannot rate this enough, for making our little one feel included and the food was fantastic!

Room was fine but the breakfast was the worst we've ever experienced. Noticed pinned to restaurant door stating they're having problems with supply so some items are unavailable.... No pancakes No muffins No plain croissants No yougurts No marmalade No honey No Jam Refried dripping in oil bacon Overcooked reheated hash browns and sausages Dried out beans and scrambled eggs Oh and NO TOASTER!! Rude waitresses who lied about them looking for sending someone to buy a toaster then over heard her taking toast to "her friends" then when asked she said its gluten bread so I then asked the manager who said we can do toast! Totally unprofessional!

Ordered Gluton free Fish and chips, when my order came out the batter looked far too dark and crispy for it to be GF I asked the boy to confirm it was GF and he said oh your order didn’t come through as GF I’m sorry I will get you a GF one! A good job I questioned him as a coeliac I would of been very ill very quickly! 😡🤢🤮

Great, safe cafe to eat gluten free waffles, pancakes and other breakfast dishes all day. Amazing desert dishes and gf cakes. They even do pop up evenings now too! Lovely helpful staff. And the owner is usually available to discuss allergies!

One of the commentators complains of slow service, but food is cooked to order, battering the fresh fish. Lovely food, and very friendly. Update April 2023: They rustled up a gluten free fish batter for us which wasn't on the menu. Very kind :)
