Burma! Burma! absolutely blew us away! We went with family and opted for the family style, which was a fantastic way to try a variety of dishes. The samosas were crispy perfection, and the lettuce wraps were incredibly fresh. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp with walnuts was a unique and delicious combination. There were also plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options, which made everyone happy. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lively. We can't wait to go back!
GLUTEN FREE GOODNESS! They are very aware of Gluten Allergies and what our server didn’t know he asked the chef. I got the steak without the rub, green beans, and a baked potato. I love ranch on my baked potato, but couldn’t have theirs bc there is wheat in it. Every one loved their food and yummy cocktails!
Good food, but not a great value.
Nice atmosphere and a nice outdoor seating area with attentive service and a good selection of fancy sodas and craft beers.
I appreciated the gluten free menu markings, but be sure to confirm with your server as there are menu items that are available gluten free but aren't by default.
Good place to go with a medium to large party.
I want to give a shout out to the 3 people who closed on 7/25. It was a woman and 2 men. I wish I caught their names but either way, great service. I came in 30 minutes before close and I hate being that person coming in last second but I just got off work at Stoneridge and there weren't a lot of options. The way she greeted me when I came in felt so welcoming and I didn't feel like a bother. I was able to talk with them for a while since I was the only customer in the store at first so they gave a family type feeling. I used to frequent the location in San Leandro from 2018-2021 so I'm familiar with the set up, but maybe recipes have changed....this pizza was the best pizza I've had in a long long time, not even just from a Pieology, I'm talking out of all pizzas I've had, and my family eats a lot of pizza. The crust and sauce seemed way better than I remembered. I love the selection of toppings and types of crust (from thin to risen to gluten-free or cauliflower).
I've been here many times. Whenever I want a crepe, this is my number 1 spot. The bee signature is fantastic, I always get the gluten-free option, and it tastes amazing. Usually, gluten-free options do not taste good.
I also ordered Thai iced tea, which hit all of the spots.
I love the owners they are kind and very accommodating.
I wish they would reopen the inside for seating. Since the lock down they have only been doing take out, they have chairs and tables set up outside.
I am at a Conference and we ordered box lunches: Turkey & Avocado, Ham Turkey &Cheese, Vegan, and Gluten Free.
Every meal looked fantastic and I had the Turkey. It was amazing including alfalfa sprouts, a real salad and a yummy cookie...
...and my stomach feels full....enjoy your next meal...
Good spot for a low-key first date, knowing they would have a wide variety of food and drink options to choose from. Gluten-free menu was provided upon request with some great options. We were able to chill and get to know each other without being hassled. Wait staff was friendly, professional and attentive.
I've always loved Chaat Bhavan of Dublin. We can't reserve a table beforehand, but it makes sense that way. They're always full, and people tables do empty. Completely vegetarian, they have gluten-free and vegan options.without compromising taste. Clean and good service.
We had a large party of about 20-25 people for an event. Food that was being served to tables around us smelled and looked great. We had pre-ordered our entree choices, of course, days before. There weren't any vegan options. Unfortunately, my gluten-free pasta was hard and not thoroughly cooked. The pesto sauce it came with was tasty, but I couldn't eat it and had to wait until the server came at the end to send it back. It was too late to order anything else. I liked the simple salad, but others said it wasn't flavorful enough. Servers were friendly. Other helpers and runners were rushing around, they were very busy on a Friday night. I didn't get any more water refills after halfway through, and I was thirsty. I know they were busy, but we didn't get served food until over 1 hour and 15 min after our start time.
I'm sure this place is probably better when it's not packed.
Some good, healthier options. I don't recommend the gluten free granola, though, as this was just rice puffed cereal, which isn't terribly healthy. Everything else was great. 👍
Gluten free crust that’s really good! (Rice flour based). Vegan pizza? Also really good! Got the Mt Diablo on gf crust. Ate half the 12” before my friend got through their one slice. 10/10 will be back.
Whole Foods Market is renowned for its commitment to offering high-quality, organic, and sustainably sourced products. However, it's worth noting that the store's emphasis on quality often translates into higher prices compared to other grocery chains. While Whole Foods provides a fantastic selection of organic produce, fresh foods, and specialty items, it may have limited options for conventional or budget-conscious shoppers.
The store's dedication to quality control and ethical sourcing is commendable, and it appeals to those who prioritize health-conscious and environmentally friendly choices. The selection of organic produce, grass-fed meats, and artisanal products is impressive. Whole Foods also strives to cater to dietary restrictions and preferences, with a decent range of gluten-free, vegan, and other specialty items.
Nevertheless, some customers may find the prices at Whole Foods to be a deterrent, particularly when comparing similar products available at other supermarkets. The premium placed on organic and high-quality ingredients can make it challenging for budget-minded shoppers to complete their entire grocery list at Whole Foods.
In terms of variety, while Whole Foods offers a diverse range of products, including natural cleaning supplies and personal care items, there might be limitations in certain categories compared to larger supermarket chains. This is especially noticeable in conventional or mass-produced brands that may not align with Whole Foods' stringent sourcing standards.
In summary, Whole Foods Market's dedication to quality, sustainability, and organic products is praiseworthy. However, it is essential to acknowledge that the store's emphasis on premium products does result in higher prices. Additionally, some customers might find the choices limited in certain areas, particularly in conventional brands or budget-friendly options.
This is my first time at fresh millions never heard of the establishment before the service was amazing. I let them know that I had some dietary restrictions to gluten and dairy and they were able to help me find something suitable. The portion size is huge so it definitely worth the $26 that I spent.
As a vegetarian, I walked away nice and full! The Vegetarian Dish I had was full of flavor and not heavy (tasted healthy). I was sad to have had to missed out on the mantoo and bolani as I have to eat gluten free, but everyone else at the table were gushing about the flavor. However, what I did eat was enough for me.
They still have animatronics, and, if not the original ones, they're very close! We came for the nostalgia of the animatronics. The games are most games of luck now (rather than arcade games) and the "tickets" are added virtually to your card, which replaced the token system of long ago. Play options include a set number of plays OR a set amount of time. I noticed that the child crowd runs fairly young here, probably under 6, but it was a daytime-on-the-weekend visit. The food is fine--mostly just pizza and it's not amazing pizza and expensive for what it is, but it's Chuck E. Cheese and I knew that was coming. It was nice to see salad and gluten-free personal pizza options, as well as wine. This is not the Chuck E. Cheese of the 1980s, but it's still a reasonably fun place for kids to spend a cold or rainy day, or a birthday.
Our second time visiting. Loved the show that our chef put on for us. Blew what Benihana had to offer out of the water. The food was good overall. Their ability to handle all the food allergies or intolerances in our group of ten was absolutely outstanding! We so appreciated all the extra time and care put into preparing our food. No one ended up in the ER or with follow up stomach issues which is a near miracle when dealing with issues in the group spanning diabetes, Celiac's Disease, tree nuts, shrimp, eggs, and onion allergies all at one table. Kudos to all for a job well done! We aren't locals, but will certainly be back when we're visiting in the area again. To those who had issues with service, aside from a couple overlooked drinks that were promptly delivered when we brought it to their attention, we didn't experience this issue at all.
Their gluten free cauliflower crust is delicious! In addition, they also have a nice selection of vegetarian pizzas which is so refreshing since it’s usually so difficult to find a good gluten free vegetarian pizza. Our favorite is the achari gobi on the cauliflower crust. The staff is always friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend this place.
My colleague and I went here for a quick snack after a meeting today. I am a gluten-free vegetarian and found some good options here. I was happy to see that the manager, Ajit, was very honest about what could be made gluten-free and what could not.
Came in after work, it is 12:58 am rn and found this cool spot. Tandoori Pizza not only offers traditional native flavors but also cooks up the classic pizzas and also not to mention has the option of gluten free and cauliflower crust options as well as vegan options. Will definitely be back again soon!!!! I had the chicken curry pizza and it was fire.
Place is clean, accessible from freeway and very excited that they almost always have vegan items in stock.
One request to the owner is to individually label the vegan and gluten free and other dietary restriction items. People have food allergies and it will be helpful to have the items individually labels on the packaging
