Cute cafe, super busy on a Saturday. We were seated fairly quickly. The oat milk matcha latte was absolutely to die for! The corned beef hash was great too. Eggs Benedict was a little underwhelming and the hollandaise a bit thick but otherwise fairly tasty meal and friendly service. They have gluten free options clearly marked.
Expect an authentic experience with perfectly spiced dishes that leave you craving more, reminiscent of home-cooked meals.

I've had Ethiopian food at many different restaurants and authentically home cooked, and Konjo was pretty great! We had both veggie and beef and sambusa - each dish was spiced perfectly (wouldn't have minded more heat but that's not for everyone). Super delicious and filling. Also awesome to find gluten free injera. Would recommend!
With a fantastic variety for customization and great portion sizes, it's a delightful spot for fresh treats, though a kid-sized option would be nice!

WARNING! Not Allergen Friendly. BEWARE. When you use the words plant-based, people have expectations that it is. If it is not, you should make that clear on your website. But it seems you only care to use the latest buzzword of plant based for marketing purposes and don’t really care about people’s health or dietary restrictions. I ordered a bowl and indicated GLUTEN FREE AND DAIRY FREE on the instructions. When I showed up, it was clear the woman paid no attention to the instructions and was preparing it as normal - which has both gluten and dairy in it. The granola has gluten. And the Nutella has dairy. She tried telling me it does not. I argued with her and she checked the label and sure enough, Nutella has dairy, as I said. She said she can substitute the chocolate syrup for the Nutella. And use gluten free granola. There was no option to pick gluten free granola on the order form. Also it wasn’t even that good, and definitely not worth the allergen exposure risk. YOU NEED TO MARK YOUR MENUS WITH ALLERGEN INFO AND/OR INCLUDE OPTIONS TO PICK ALTERNATIVES. AND STOP USING “PLANT BASED” UNLESS YOU ARE TRULY PLANT BASED!
A beloved spot in Edgewater with ample seating, fun Music Bingo on Mondays, and a refreshing pineapple martini to try.

I go here a few times a year. It’s charming, in a cute neighborhood, and the service is friendly. We went on a Tuesday and there were still a few tables left, and lots of room at the bar. I have a strict gluten free diet, and they have plenty to choose from. I just can’t place why I didn’t give it 5 stars… maybe they were a little short staffed? We had a great time, and the food was good. We had so wings cooked crispy and shared a big chop salad. I love sitting on the patio in the spring. Their gardens are beautiful. I’ll add photos next time! I’ll definitely be back soon. We shared an appetizer and a salad, so it feels like it was expensive… it would have been $30-50 each without alcohol if we hadn’t shared.
One of very few places I trust to make great sushi. Also, the last few times we were in, they were much more knowledgeable about gluten and which menu items were safe, so kudos to them for that too!
Chill vibe with plenty of outdoor seating, quick drink service, and a fun atmosphere that’s perfect for families and pets alike.

Very nice place, clean and lots of outdoor seating. Pretty quick to get a beer or cocktail with nice selections; some of them are pre-batched, but still tasty. Great food selection and good gluten free choices AKA tacos. Kid and dog friendly and overall fun!
Syrup felt like a hidden gem of Edgewater. Tucked behind Ruperts, we had no trouble getting in for 2 at the brunch hour.
The crab cakes were fried which was unexpected and all things gluten free were an up-charge (fruit included). I understand the economics, but will be a consideration in the future.
Overall the food was yummy, service was quick and delightful.
Indoor and outdoor seating, dogs allowed outside the patio.

Best Thai food I’ve had since being in Thailand. I think they have decent Thai food in NY where I live but this was beyond delicious. I can’t speak to ambiance because we only did takeout. Going back a week later (tonight!). Gluten free options and helpful in navigating the menu!
