Greta place to chill, there are lots of tables in the back… keep walking in and swing left. The coffee order before ours was incorrect, so they had to remake it. Then our matcha latte was pretty mid. Obviously, this is not a matcha specialty place, but the blackberry dessert bar that we had and the bla berry brownie were both good. They have gluten free options as well and salads and sandwiches. The ordering is a bit tedious because it was just one guy when we went in yesterday. Lots of seating outdoors on both street sides of the store. Families, students studying, individuals and groups hanging out.
A fantastic spot with attentive service that makes for a memorable experience you'll want to repeat!

They've always been really nice to me and cared about my allergies to gluten. The restaurant is comfortable to be in and the business treats it's staff very well.
If you look on their website they have all sorts of benefits for them and you can taste it in the food.
Everyone there has always taken the time to explain things to me even when I was really hungry, angry and experiencing health problems, they even refused tips about it, just kind people.

This is a small family owned restaurant. It reminds me of restaurants I have been to in Italy. I was at the restaurant for a birthday gathering of 11 people. I had the spaghetti carbonara. The pasta's flavor was fabulous! The limoncello cake is light & smooth tasting. My husband doesn't like pasta but, enjoyed a tender and flavorful steak. My 6 yr old grandson can't eat gluten or dairy. He was delighted with their gluten & dairy free pasta with sauce. The waitstaff was attentive to our requests. Fantastic experience that I would highly recommend!
I’ve been going to Baronies since I was a child and it still ceases to amaze me. All the waitstaff are excellent and each employee contributes to an enjoyable dining experience. Today we had Terri wait on us and she went over and beyond expectations. It’s great to go to a place that genuinely cares about their customers!
Our favorite menu options are the gluten free pizzas and the chicken jalapeño soup! I’ve had their pastas, salads, and desserts which are all great as well.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. The restaurant cares to use quality ingredients and accommodate dietary restrictions. They also have a game room and create-your-own pizza night for kids. The music and ambiance are nice too.
I plan to continue coming back for many more years to come!
I picked this pizza up in glen ellyn because I had an appointment and thought it would be easy to have it waiting for me to pick up, fresh and hot. I ordered the gluten free crust. I had it three weeks ago from the addison giordianos and it was fantastic.
When i got home, my hubby and i split the chopped salad and started to eat the pizza. The crust tasted stiff, almost if it had been cooked when I ordered it and been sitting for a while. The flavors were good, but when I got home, it was cooled down considerably.
Will stick with having it delivered ☹

Cozy diner atmosphere with delicious food (both the regular and gluten-free pancakes were delicious), in generous sized portions, and very good coffee. Servers are always very kind, sweet, and check on your table regularly. This is the kind of breakfast, brunch, & lunch restaurant that almost takes you back in time just slightly making you feel at home. Minimum noise. No loud clanking dishes coming from the kitchen. There is an interesting mural on the wall towards the ceiling in the middle of the restaurant that adds to the theme of Darby Station.

Elephant Thai in Glen Ellyn is a great spot for authentic Thai cuisine. The cozy ambiance is welcoming. The staff is friendly, but the food!
The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, including classic favorites like Pad Thai and Green Curry.
A standout dish is the Massaman Curry—aromatic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. So good! Basil Chicken was also phenomenal, great spice level and flavor.
Elephant Thai also caters well to dietary preferences, offering plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The portion sizes are generous, making it great value for the price.
Overall, Elephant Thai is a fantastic choice for a casual meal, a date night, or even takeout. Highly recommend it for anyone in the Glen Ellyn area looking to enjoy delicious and authentic Thai food!
Great food. The brocolini and green beans in themselves are worth the trip. I had a black bean burger. My wife had a regular burger with gluten free bread. One child had the ravioli and the other chicken strips. The fries are fresh cut and awesome. My wife said the gluten free bun was the best she has had in recent memory. The black bean burger had plenty of cheese and advocado. Super yummy. The atmosphere is inviting. The server was very friendly and took the time to talk to us about the restaurant, chef and the pastry chef. Need to go back and sample a few of the beers soon. Hopefully they will start having live music again. It is pricey but well worth it for the quality and uniqueness of the ingredients. If you want cheap then go suffer at McD's.
Love the boards here with lots of options, including gluten free crackers. Sheep and goat cheese for those who can't do cows milk. Wine selection is always fab.
Walk into Joy Bar and you feel a boost of health and satisfaction immediately. Smoothies, toasts with gluten free options, power shots, and generously portioned salads. They also have drip intelligentsia coffee and a turmeric ginger tea that I come back for regularly. The employees give good suggestions according to the health benefit you’re looking for. Prices are fair for the quality of ingredients. All this in a sweet downtown Glen Ellyn environment across from the metra station.
A happening place. Very busy and a little loud. Food was to die for. Fresh, unusual and plentiful. Gluten free rolls for sandwiches if needed. Our waiter, Andy, was delightful and accommodating. A little on the pricey side. Good experience.

I’m a hard sell moving from California so sushi is different here, but the place is so pretty and clean and has a good diverse menu. Cute little Japanese eating tables if you wish, and they have a robot to bring out food! I have to eat gluten free and they had options so I’m happy about that and would definitely return.

They don't make me wait, treat me really nicely (often time when I come in shaking and looking awful), an have always done me well.
I wouldn't have stayed in this area if it wasn't for this pizza shop. They feel like home. Everytime I call or stop by they're always happy to see me and I see the people in the shop out in the community and they're always so happy.
The food slaps. They have gluten free choices, and I've never been exposed from here. The entire wall of specialty pizzas really throws the entire five star experience well into a 6.
Best pizza, best people, best responce times.
If this pizza shop was a man, my wife would divorce me for him.

I love Kizuna. The place is very cute, spotlessly clean. Menu is varied, the omnivores in my family say the fish is very fresh and high quality. They take gluten free seriously, my celiac kid has never gotten sick eating here. For myself, I love that they have thoughtful, interesting vegetarian rolls. 5 stars for everything everyone should go check it out
