Great little place right down the street from a family member’s house, he has celiac and they have gluten-free breads etc. fast and good service. Consistency in all their meals served and the service are why we are there minimum 2x a week!

When searching gluten free friendly restaurants to meet a friend near the CT/MA line, Fresh Fields Cafe and Deli popped up. I looked at the menu, as I always do before making a decision. They had great coffee & TEA options and a nice gluten free wrap option, which I haven’t found while out to eat so I was excited to give it a try. I was very surprised when I pulled up to see this Cafe & Deli was in a gas station. There is a designated section with walk up deli and plenty of tables. I ordered the GFree Veggie Betty wrap and a Chi Tea Latte, both were excellent, and the wrap was HUGE! My friend ordered the ‘lite’ BLT sub, they also have a hearty option. I travel a lot, I wish there were more family delis in travel centers!! The food was prepared to order with local fresh ingredients. I did ask the attendant to wipe down our table, which he was happy to take care of quickly. I will definitely be going back.
