We were super excited to eat here however it was not worth the money we spent. The artichoke dip should’ve been super flavorful, but it was mildly bland, but at least the bread was good. They do not carry a gluten-free dip for the artichoke dip. I ordered the pesto pasta, and it was not quite cooked enough. The other person I was dining with ordered the steak risotto, medium rare. However, the first time they brought it out, the steak was medium well. They brought her dish back to the kitchen and almost 25 minutes later she still did not have food. The manager gave a bunch of excuses when they brought out the dish again with the steak cooked at medium well again. She claimed that the kitchen does not have a hot pan and they have to wait to heat a pan. Mind you this restaurant was completely full and it was the middle of dinner, but the kitchen does not have a hot pan. We had been sitting at the restaurant for 75 minutes at this point and they had not been able to eat their dinner so they just had it returned because the risotto looked like slop and the steak was overcooked. We had tickets to something that evening and did not have another hour to sit there and hope they might bring out an acceptable option. At this point, I was done eating what I was gonna eat of my meal and requested a box. . The manager did remove the cost of the risotto steak meal, but acted like it was a complete inconvenience to have dealt with us. The other person walked out not being able to eat dinner, and there was no apology made for that. We spent $70+ and they never even got food. The manager did NOT make this right and said that if we have issue with it, we can call back later and we can discuss it with her. This is the least acceptable way to have dealt with this. I would not send a single person here to eat ever. It might have a cool view, but so do other places in Duluth.

One of the best restaurants in Duluth if you don’t want to spend a lot of money but do want good food and have a good time. It gets busy during dinner time like most places and they have music every night so if you aren’t into how loud it gets it’s still worth it to order takeout, which on Saturday you have to do in person. I recommend avoid using a car to get there since parking is very limited in the area when it is busy. They have a lot of different food options so if you need vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free they can accommodate you. Honestly I don’t think they have a single bad item on the menu.

My family and I tried them for the first time yesterday. Staff had all been so pleasant and we got seated fast. I have celiac and the waitress we had was so thoughtful about my food and making sure the grill was cleaned before my food was cooked so I would have safe food. The food was amazing and we will definitely be coming back .

Our first time here. Stopped on our way through Duluth for takeout on the recommendation of my vegan son. Right away the (elderly) hostess was crabby. When she took our order she was slow and continued to be crabby. The place was slammed and maybe short staffed. For four food items there were two errors. The first was that upon getting back to our car with our order, for which we had waited over 30 minutes, there was meat on my nachos after Md. Crabby had asked me if I wanted any meat and I had specifically said "no, absolutely not". The second was that she gave my grandson Mt. Dew, again after a clear order of Pepsi. We will try this place again only because others seem to love it and, as a vegetarian with a gluten allergy I like it that the menu is clear about ingredients. Now, if only they can get the order right.
